It's an Express lane...

OH I DIDN'T SEE THE HANDS

15 is as much as I can take with 3 hands?

>

Yes we are a country of immigrants and a large portion of those immigrants don't speak english

It's a way of condescending to customers who bring more than 15 items to the express lane. When someone brings in 16 or even 20 items, the cashier can point to the sign and embarrass the customer for holding up the line.

Pretty sure they use the same numerals in Mexico

>"15 in mexico dont mean 15 in murrica boi"

15 could very easily be which checkout station they are at

I've never actually seen anything like this before

I work at IKEA so this is true. I hear customers laughing at it all the time.

Yes, Americans are required to put up their hands at the register or they get shot.

kek

And those hands could mean the same

Most checkouts don't have item limits but do have numbers marking which checkout they are

I think in this case hands are used just to make clearer that you can't use that lane if you have more than 15 items. But I prefer to imagine that you guys can't count and still use your fingers lmao

It is a fake meme

It's supposed to be a joke and it's a pretty funny ngl

How new are all of you? This fake shit has been posted for years, you'd think you'd recognize it by now?
