was in between classes. school went on lockdown. they turned the tvs on and we saw the first plane hit over and over. didnt comprehend the magnitude at the time really. i initially told myself it was an accident but then the second one hit. my country lost its damn mind after 9/11 and here we are!

I was in school. I went to my grandmother's for lunch in those days. got home, grandma told me there was this plane crash on some tall buildings somewhere abroad. turned on the tv and it was the WTC. 10 minutes later second plane hits. I was there 2 weeks before. couldn't believe it.

I took an exam. I was on a kind of management apprenticeship type scheme to become a license holder for bars / pubs. I was staying in a hotel in Manchester and it was the last day of our course. We got back early afternoon having sat the tests and went for a beer in the bar to celebrate. The TV was on and the first plane had already hit, but the second had not. There was a small group of Americans in the bar, we all watched the second plane hit and the towers collapse live, very sombre mood. The world changed that day.

When we came to the booth of Audi they were all sitting in the cars, listening to the radio with shocked faces. When we asked what was going on they said that a plane crashed in WTC.
We got the fuck out of there because nobody knew what was going on and pic related is next to the show. In the taxi we heard about the second plane.
