Is it normal not to have a job while studying?

Is it normal not to have a job while studying?

It's probably half and half here. But you probably want to get an internship if you expect to look good to employers after graduation.

Yes

yeah

Yes.

But I feel if I had a job I could use it to justify my lack of socialising. If I have no job I will be in my room all day and only go out for lectures

Everyone else on this board has problems too you know but we either deal with them or keep them to ourselves. Personally I'm facing many of the same problems as you are and all you're doing is constantly reminding me of them. Just fuck off

Upper middle class and wealthy students can ususally afford to go to school and live independently without having to work. Their parents usually pay for them until they finish college.
For middle class and lower it's common for the college kid to get at least a part time job during the last 2-3 years of school to help pay for rent.

Lol

Take it easy bruh

What about if I get youth allowance?

I just want to know why one person feels the need to make 20 threads a day on every minor problem he faces.

yes, that's not normal, it's how it should be.
it's the main reason people with degrees earn more.

you have college dorms like mutts?

This
Then half of these threads spiral out of control as well with blatant misinformation about how there are "no jobs"

I'll be staying in on-campus accommodation for students 21 years and over. It's self-catered

you could've just said yes

Don't you have on-campus accommodation in Argentina?

lol

I don't see how I'm supposed to get a job anyway I don't have any work experience

no, why would we? I don't know about your country or USA but our universities are not in the middle of nowhere, they're in cities.
and if you're from Buenos Aires, your university is not just in a city, it's in one of the 20 biggest cities in the world.
just rent a room or something.

But I'm eligible for accommodation bursaries/scholarships if I live on campus

right but I'm from Buenos Aires though, free unis

whats that?

you work for free because of inexperience, you gain experience for future jobs.
yes, the entire socio-economic system in the USA is based on exploitation.

New Zealand has uni provided accommodation too, virtually all freshers stay at them. It's a thing in all English-speaking countries, not just USA.

I can only work 15 hours a week max because I am a brainlet and will end up failing my classes otherwise
I am also poor so it makes me really hate this self imposed paradox

we have appartment blocks and other kinds of lodging specially designed/targeted for students, but they're not in the university.
that's weird.

>self imposed
what's self imposed about that? your country is famously shit when it comes to these things.

The only people who live on campus in Australia are
> Rich private school fucks who want to be part of "college culture" (sexual assault and lots of drinking)
> Rich asian fobs
> Country people who get scholarships
The vast majority of people stay at home, since our unis are in the cities

It's not normal to be a st*dent

Oh look, the Argentinian Marxist has arrived.

why are you assuming I'm a Marxist?

It would be too demanding to work a job while studying I wouldn't be able to keep up with the workload

Hopefully the bursary will cover the cost of accommodation

There is an Argentinian marxist posting all the time on Jow Forums, and with that response I assumed it was you
(I asked him, he stated himself he was a Marxist)

seen him too, I'm still a socialist by the way, just not a Marxist, and I don't waste my time trying to spread class consciousness on Jow Forums of all places.
