not if they don't ask
it's not a badge of honor irl

unless it's the electromagnetic spectrum, don't bother!

Why would you? You have absolutely no benefit to gain from doing so.

Wow

no, you shouldn’t tell them you use Jow Forums

always lie to those motherfuckers, they love being lied to

>You have absolutely no benefit to gain from doing so
I got my own office booth because of my Asperger. So that's not true. I don't have to split one with the other plebs.

Depends on how low effort the job is. McDonald's
hires lots of retards.

is there a autism and proud version of that pic?

It might be a good idea AFTER you're hired, then. But doing it before you get hired by a potential employer is basically asking to be discriminated against in the hiring process, regardless of legality.

>McDonald's
>hires lots of retards.

Nah, only cute girls.

Attached: 6ESNB.jpg (2592x1936, 620K)

Kek this, guess it's a Swedish thing. Literally impossible (ok, almost) to get a job at McDonald's if you are a dude.

I got a job writing code for Microsoft. Mentioned my autism during the interview. Dont know if it helped or not, but it didnt hurt my chances.

I thought retards like you get free money for breathing from your mouth?

Most employers ask about your mental health history and "will not discriminate regardless of answer"
I always lie. Not worth sharing

nvm
I made one myself

I remember going to McDonald’s once maybe ten years ago, and there was a tall long haired guy working there who’s name tag said “Viking”. I don’t know why, but this experience has stuck with me.

Göteborg? My name is Viking and I worked at Donken back in 2009-2010.

Why the fuck would you want to get welfare over working? Besides, if he's posting here he's probably smart enough to handle a normal job.

No, Gävle. What an interesting coincidence though.

>My name is Viking
I didn't know this was a name. I dig it. How common is it?

McDonalds literal piss-tier easy ass job to get in UK for any gender.

Everyone who works there is greasy, fat, ugly, maybe one cute girl out of the entire staff.
Hated my 4 weeks working there before I was fired looool

I have only met one other dude with the same name and he was probably 70. So not common.

A total of 528 men in Sweden have it as their given name. There's a total of 4313 men and 10 women with it as one of their first names, but most likely they're not being called by that name then.
scb.se/hitta-statistik/sverige-i-siffror/namnsok/Search/?nameSearchInput=Viking

I guess it's no more silly than the name "Hunter"

Hmm, the complete opposite of McDonalds here.
Every time I enter one there is around 80% females working in there. And there is never any dudes working the tills. They are in the back making burgers.

I'm almost never called Viking though, people call me "Vickan" which bothered me at first but now I have accepted it.

I wouldn’t worry about it. They’ll figure out soon enough.

tills aren't a thing in UK mcdonalds anymore, we have machines that we order from now

but that picture you showed of girls with long hair is weird, we cannot have long hair, or we have to scramble it up into a ball, put hairnet on it, and also a hat ontop of it

no beards are allowed or anything, i'm Turkish so I could have said it was for religious reasons but I'm not a cunt so I didn't

it also has terrible fucking regulations, oil all over the floor, fell over like 20 times as a 16 year old nobody gave a shit, got smacked in the face with a hot fucking tray and nobody gave a shit

never work at mcdonalds, fucking £5 an hour pay, worst job in the world seriously

You should tell them you are based and redpilled.

Jeez. Nothing like that here. We do have the giant touch screens for people to order from but you can still order normally at the tills as well. Mostly old people do that.

Regulations wise it's not nearly as strict. Long hair is not a problem, neither is a beard.
And you actually earn a normal salary there, even if you clean toilets and chuck fries all day.

Based

>fucking £5 an hour pay

WUT? Here it's around £12-18/hour.

Did your grease trap smelled like a bloated corpse too?

fucking hell need to move to sweden

I'm muslim should be pretty easy right

you can live a very nice life off £12-18 here in England, I'm assuming is the same in Sweden?

broski idk what a grease trap is, we had oil all over the floor so we probably lacked that and is probably something we needed

otherwise the kitchen smelled fucking awful anyway

Wait what's you minimum wage? You're shit wasn't that much cheaper than here.
5 pounds is 3rd world, or can you pay kids less

As long as you don't live in central Stockholm (rent is fucked) that salary will work just fine for a comfy life.
I earn £19/h right now in a warehouse cleaning floors.

And how easy is getting a job with autism there?

16 is legal working/adult age, so I was getting minimum normal wage

used to be £4.50 at least it went up to £5.50

minimum wage for an apprentice (any age) is £3.60, minimum wage for 16-18 is £4.20, minimum wage for 18-20 is £5.90, 21-24 is £7.38, 25 and over is £7.83

very autistic system, and there's a reason why there's a lot of hoods and ghettos in here, and there's a reason why I sell mdma instead of getting a real job

c o m f y
how hard is it to move to sweden

Thats fucked
Minimum where I live is $10/hr

This can't be real life. Is this a porno? What the fuck? Minimum wage is $10 dollars here but nobody will employ full time at fast food. That way they don't have to give you any benefits/health insurance.
youtube.com/watch?v=-Bakxg48T-8

Not hard at all. I would actually go out of my way to say it gives you a boost in the work market.
Why? Well the government has tons of "assisted employment" programs going on. It's normal jobs where the employer get's a handout for hiring people with special needs.
So companies actually benefit from your autism.

mhm I don't like when americans and shit think UK is posh, I'm living in poverty, so is everyone I know, it's very hard to live in England, growing up as a little kid, my mum didn't have meals for days just to feed me, she went fully anorexic

I definitely 100% think UK is 3rd world especially since everyone acts 3rd world as fuck, daily stabbings, shootings, etc etc

>benefits/health insurance
We don't really need that when healthcare is tax paid and the salary is high enough either way.
But part time work at McDonald's is still common for young people. But so is full time employment. I'd say it's 50/50. But both ways pays well.
And why it's only cute girls? I.. I don't know actually. Feminism gone right? Wrong?
I don't know but I rather face a hot 19 year old chick than some pimply dude when I'm ordering food.

>I don't know but I rather face a hot 19 year old chick than some pimply dude when I'm ordering food.

That's why people in America treat fast food workers like shit. I worked at Chipotle for a while.

>This can't be real life
Can't speak for all of Sweden but in my town there was a clear "tradition" when it came to getting your first job.
If you didn't have a career planned out already you either worked at McDonalds (female) or in the steel plant (male).
Those were the main jobs and they were/are very gender split.

Hmm. That's interesting. Working fast food as a sixteen year old boy isn't unusual here. Or if you're a real fuck up, you go to the military. Also, lots of women do factory work here.

See: Rosy the Riveter

Yeah the military is also an option here but they demand a lot of you in shape of good grades and all that.
Meanwhile the greenhorn jobs in the steel plant/knife making factory both pays well and is easy to get.
Sad to say that any dude who ended up working at McDonalds got bullied like crazy.
Not sure if it's the same today (this was early 2000) but nothing really changes here so I would assume so.

Girls though, they got some real respect if they worked the floor in the steel plant. My mom did when she was younger. All the women in there earn their own nick names for some reason. My mom was called Arga Björn "angry bear" even though she was a small, blonde woman.

literally women working in the kitchen. nice.

We do a similar thing just higher and the minimum wage reaches its maximum at 21 and is basically there at 20
So deliverying pizza at 19 I'm making about 12 pounds an hour plus enough money to cover fuel basically in general a well as just when I'm working

Props to Arga Bjorn!

>Military
>Good grades
Well, this must be a cultural difference. Its encouraged here if you failed out of school to go the military. I mean, you need a college degree to drop nuclear bombs out of a B-1,but still. My female cousin is an aircraft mechanic in the air force and she ain't that bright.

Yep, the military is a job for smart people here.
It's harder to get than a normal job.
You need to pass the mental check, have the right grades, language skills and pass the physical test. We only have like 20 000 people in our military (in total) with a 10 million population.

People who failed school here either remain unemployed or eventually find something they are good at.
My brother is pretty much retarded and failed all grades but he can fix a car like it's nothing no matter what. He's a mechanic today.

I guess you guys need more raw manpower than other countries. Here it's supposed professionalised. Basically everybody goes into some sort of specialised position, makes a shit ton of tax free money and afterwards people in related industries suck their dick to employ them

All the idiots here just sell drugs, steal things, mooch off their families, or collect welfare/disability.

LoL, I might have the autism, too. Your brother is an auto tech? Can he fix up a Volv/o/?

My brother is a good old fashion, wrench in hand, covered in oil mechanic.
If it has an engine, he can fix it.
He pretty much built my Volvo 244 from the ground up, when the kids crash their old bricks he's the one who gets them running again.
Winter season is hitting us now though so most of his work shifts to snowmobiles and snowcats for a while.

Wow. Its the opposite here. They struggle to find jobs and often have PTSD or end up homeless. They are low income people at first, so when they get their first taste of money they spend it all or get their money taken by their wives in a divorce.

Employers literally have a thing in their job applications saying they shouldn't
discriminate against veterans.

eeoc.gov/eeoc/publications/ada_veterans.cfm

What are snowmobiles used for in Sweden? Just fucking around or do they have actual utility to you?

The Swedish guy really has a Volvo? Come on, you're just fucking with me.

They take the place of cars here in the north actually.
Something like 85% of people own one here and they are the everyday vehicle of choice. They are street legal and people go shopping on them, ride to work/school and just get around easy. I got my first sled when I was 13. Rode it to school and all that.
There was recently a big debate in town about them, some politician wanted to ban snowmobiles inside the city and people pretty much went nuts. His idea was voted down by like 9 out of 10 votes.

Been driving Volvo my entire life, must me a shocker! ;)

Attached: IMG_20121222_153303.jpg (958x615, 381K)

So cool. Diesel Volvos are like a hipster/hippie car here and they last forever. I've never ridden a snowmobile here, but you could definitely have fun on one in Western Maryland during the winters.

I've seen maybe one or two people riding one here in Baltimore when there's some fucking ridiculous snowstorm. Not street legal.

>Not street legal
What a bummer. It's the best part of winter for me.
Pic related is from a live music show in town a few winters ago, pic is the "parking lot" outside.
Gives you an idea of how common the snowmobile is here.

Attached: Snöskoterparkering.jpg (700x407, 52K)

I've never operated one of these, or even seen one in person, come to think of it, but they look cool as shit.

I've probably seen more sleds on the X-Games than real life. Oh, and being not street legal doesn't keep us from riding things.

They are actually very easy to learn. They respond more to your body than to the handlebars. You lean left, it turns left. You lean back and let go of the throttle, it slows down. You lean forward give it some gas and away you go. You have a surprising amount of traction with a good belt and you can stop pretty fast if you need to. The brake is pretty amazing on them.

Damn kids these days though (pic), they got it easy with their long belts and modern tech. I had my old Ockelbo 300 back when I was a kid. No tech. No helps. Short as fuck.

Attached: 12445445.jpg (1200x486, 439K)

Please tell me you have illegal snowmobile races.

How much does a snowmobile cost new? There's a range, I'm sure, but ballpark figures?

Just google it, you lazy nigger.
snowmobiles.polaris.com/en-us/voyageur/voyageur-144/

Yep. There's a very large "underground" scene with tuned sleds. We are talking turbos and all.

I think the baddest in town was a 550 hp twin turbo Yama that topped out at around 160 mph and did 0-60 in around 1.4 seconds.

It depends on what you want it for. There is different classes. Some are good for hauling stuff, some for agility and such.
But a new Yamaha VK540F is around 8 300 dollars new here. That's a basic model made for everyday use that's pretty common.
A Yamaha Sidewinder (made for speed/fun) is 19 000 dollars new.

Based.
Cringe.

Those prices seem reasonable though.
