Why do Americans do this?

America is a country of Western culture, so a country of Greco-Judeo-Roman heritage, and it's also the undisputed world superpower. It's a fair comparison as far as claiming Roman legacy goes.

no ancient or medieval history to reattach themselves to

fuck amerikkka

For real though, both the USA and the Roman Empire have in common

>lots of different nations lving together
>totally degenerate elites
>poor control of their borders

>will eventually collapse

...

Not quite, America’s houses of representatives and their senate are based directly off English parliament, a medieval invention. The original whig and tory parties of America came from the parliament of the UK.

The only good American is a dead American.

Propaganda and lack of interaction with other cultures
Most Americans have never set foot outside of the United States and their only experience with foreigners are spics (who come begging to be let into the country, boosting ameriego) and canucks, who are pretty much just seen as weird gay versions of Americans.
The average American has no concept of what life is like in Europe besides what the media/propaganda tells them, hence why so many Americans here seem to think Europe has been absolutely swamped with 100% violent, radical Muslims that are as numerous in Europe as Mexicans are here

Both poo outside too

Whats wrong with it? have you ever seen how much the founding fathers were inspired by rome? why do you think they have a place called 'Cincinnati'? why do you think the Capitol hill building is roman architecture?

>how much the founding fathers were inspired by rome
Dumb me always thinking it was Locke's political theory that defined so much of the USA politics and culture

What is Americas fate in the next 50 years? Will there be an east/west roman empire style split before more balkanization or will it all just fall apart at once?

The Roman Empire was only multicultural in its dying days, during the decline.

Yes Locke and Mill are the daddies of the west and thus also USA but so are Cicero and Cato

>was only multicultural in its dying days,
They became multicultural once they expanded out of Italy, well before the Empire even existed

>comes to Jow Forums to get reassurance after getting btfo on /his/
the absolute state of (You)

Not in the same sense as the US is.

They only truly became cosmopolitan in the final stages

That makes no sense. when they were dying they held less and less territory and so were LESS multicultural and were most multicultural at the height of their empire when they ruled the most land under Trajan

Wasn't citizenship only exclusive to the Romans, and then only to Italians, up until Caracalla?

so it the US and all of the West now

yikes americans are so fucking dumb and cringe

Not sure what the hell you guys are on about, Rome was never a multicultural Empire. The entire western empire with the exception of Britain Latinized pretty quickly. And the Greek language combined with Roman governance shaped the east. At the very most you could say it was bi-cultural because Latin and Greek cultures dominated everything.

So people don't migrate within their own countries?
