I'm working on launching a startup and the guy I've been working on it with blew me off today for a phone call we were supposed to have
normally he's decent enough about communication but this time he didn't give me any notice for not being able to have the phone call
I really don't wanna have to find another person for his role as his skillset is low supply high demand, how do I prevent this from happening in the future?
I'm working on launching a startup and the guy I've been working on it with blew me off today for a phone call we were...
bls
Pay him more money you cheap fuck.
test
it's too early in the project for either of us to get paid yet
Give up mate, you dont have what it takes. Find a nice wagecuck job.
Set up a meeting, then break his leg with a pipe. Tell him if he jerks you around again you'll break the other one
Give him a blowjob so good he'll never leave you again
ok can I get a legitimate response from someone pls
idk call him again? what do you want from us?
well obviously, but I don't want him to think in the future that it's acceptable to schedule a phone call and not follow through with it without giving notice first
Keep jerking me around and I'll break your fucking leg
Im being 100% serious. This whole thread is one big red flag from you to yourself.
Fire yourself.
Get a job.
no
break his fucking knee cap you faggot. if you ask for help, take the advice. the only people that would bother to post obviously have your best interest at heart. people enjoy helping people. now pipe the fuck up and start smashing leg bones nigger
no
last time this happened to me but I continued in the project. it was one of the first redflags I shouldn't have ignored. if you haven't formed the corporation yet nothing holds you. for me everything was created and first clients were coming in, so it was problematic to drop everything. I gave myself 6 months to test water, after that I gave back my shares. I was doing the tech, it pretty much died afterward. Yes I lost money.
what should I do then? find someone else for his role? it's still ultra early.
don't mind the ID change, this is OP
what's your role?
you can always do like everyone do these days, keep him around and start looking for someone else.
project lead
I came up with a solution for a problem that I think has demand for solving and I designed the solution for it, he is my lead dev. I'm still putting my team together.
move away. he's better as an employee.
what do you mean?
he doesn't think it's going to work out. plain and simple. Progress in the direction you told him the startup would go and he will turn around. People are practical. If they think something will work out, then they will show up. sounds like things aren't going as planned.
cofounder of a startup in silicon valley btw. (also not paid yet, working on stocks)
find someone else to lead tech, and when the need arise for his special skill set hire him as en employee
also this
he does though, at least I think so. he's showed plenty of interest otherwise in helping me get this off the ground, this is the only time he's blown me off.
i just cashed out, we might meet at the good ol nuthouse one day. or we might already have
