What caused the dip when ETH was at $2.80 and then suddenly dipped to $0.50?
Looking back at ETH early days

kek thanks for the reminder that selling a large portion of my stack at $600 was a good decision
Weak handed faggots
Kernels were leaking
was this board making fun of eth buyers at $2?
yes, thats why you don't trust Jow Forums
just wait for some screencaps people saved from those days
nah not true.
They shilled Antshares(Neo), Omisego, 0xbtc and probably tons of other coins. Before it blew up.
I didn't visit this board for atleast 6-8 months.
Theirs some decent gems in here at times.
yeah i saw the one where a poorfag said they had 16,000 eth and how much will it be worth?
And someone replied between a pile of rubbish and dog shit
people shill here some solid projects, but shilling is not enough, research is the most important thing. i read over 80 whitepapers and checked every team before i bought any kind of coin. unlike the niggers here who just buy anything Jow Forums tells them to buy and ask "WHEN MOON" just to realize they bought high and sell low.
yeah these always make me laugh, these are just pajeets who are paid for writing this dogshit in a clicking farm
oh that's just pajeet, he measures everything in rubbish and dog shit. he meant 1k eoty and he was spot on, as usual.
i own some sleeping giants, perform technical analysis and read everything i can to stay updated, then i sell my stack to enlarge my position, don't believe to the HODL meme, coins need to be traded or else they are not worth anything, so whenever market is crashing, it's your time to make your stack bigger. that's how you make it
just curious, what are you hodling?
im hodling a lot of LINK and the crash from $1 to $0.25 seems pretty normal in crypto because it can also shoot up to $3 in a blind of an eye
Seriously, is LINK a meme? I have never touched it because I really thought it was a joke. At these prices it can't hurt to hedge 1000 of them if it ends up alright, but sadly I only see the value in this token being the domain name. Kek.
what do you think of ipsx famalam
i see LINK as the key to mainstream smart contract adoption since right now, we can only buy/sell/transfer tokens.
LINK can put real world data onto the blockchain secure end-to-end
I thought Sergey disappeared for 6 months? Is anything even being done on their github?
They are in the top 3% of crypto GitHub activity. Number 17 overall if I remember. Dyor. This is the last piece of the puzzle.
sad
the street is not a toilet, pajeet.
cryptokitties
my strongest possesions for now are RLC LINK BTO and ARK, i have some more projects im on but these are the main ones and those i keep track the most. i also keep track on ICX and have some and i have a friend who is an executive in SirinLabs so im also holding some SRN in case he isnt shitting about they having a huge progress, for SRN i bought in the ico with a big bonus my friend arranged, so price for me was 0.26$ = 1SRN, i sold 85% when SRN peaked to ~3.6$ and used the money for other long-term investments and daily trading since then i kept the other 15% and time will tell if they will release their phone. i also made some good profits from the peaks of projects like BCPT (Block mason protocol) and HPB when it peaked to 12$. i hope this helps you enough, user.
need to do more research, looks promising though, i have not finished reading their whitepaper so i cant be sure if this project is legit. remember before you buy a shill you need to make sure there is a use case for the technology, there is a use for the coin and why is it needed to be on a blockchain network. there are more things needed to be considered as scalability but im not writing an article about all these now.
tl;dr - let me finish my research about this project and team before i buy in, if i buy it should be now when market is low. hope it helps you.
wow awesome! how do you know when do sell at peaks? do you see the crypto bubble popping anytime soon?
I have a few saved
most important thing is DO NOT invest because i told you what i hold, if i realize one of these projects is a scam im selling my stack but you wont know that because you invested just because i told you what i hold. dont trust anyone here, use the information here as a guideline and then do your own research. Good luck!
You don't need screencaps
You can look up the archive yourself
Just set the date in the advanced options
LOL nice. post all that you have! I want to save as much as possible
What do you think is happening right now?
sorry user, those two were the extent of my ethercoin pics :/
buy ZIL
of course...im heavy on LINK, but i've heard good things about BTO and ARK....however, I'll never touch RLC
How come you won't touch RLC?
i might buy it if there is an upcoming announcement and day trade it but i just don't see it long-term.
BTO has good hype marketing.
ARK good tech but the team is too too quiet
i open the graph of the specific coin im trading on tradingview and start my technical analysis, i use more than one method to make sure that im right in the analysis and with my methods i get 2 targets - 1st target is the price which the coin will reach in a few hours/days and 2nd target is at a much higher price, it unlikely that every coin will reach there but it does from time to time. i also set my stop loss to make sure i dont lose my money if the analysis fails. in addition to my technical analysis i stay updated to see if anything new pops around which might affect coin value.
in my opinion crypto bubble will pop as the dotcom bubble popped years ago (im not that old, i was a kid those days but i have really done my homework) if you dont know the dotcom bubble go read some history now. from the ashes of the dotcom bubble some great companies survived, do you know google? amazon? priceline? that some really interesting shit you should read about.
we have a very small amount of legit companies who really try to change the world, the others are just cash grabbers or not smart enough to compete with the hot shots.
so in my opinion, the cash grabbers and the unsuccessful companies will die and those who really have something revolutionary will become giants in the blockchain world. dont expect to invest in a company and see huge profits in a week, it needs time and people will need time to concieve it but once the normies will use this tech on a daily basis, thats the day you can say you really made it.
when you invest in crypto look for something revolutionary, i bet that if you were sent back to 1998, you would buy shit ton of google stocks in order to become rich today, same for crypto today, remember this and screencap this - if you will not become at least a milionaire in ten years from now because of crypto, it's your fault.
also remember, tehre is no such thing as HODL! if you decide you invest in ARK for example for a long term, what people call HODL, what you should really do is sell when high and buy when low, it will increase your stack and you will make more money if the same coin will moon
The dip was caused by being a stupid American and not buying my book.
>just like dotcom
so youre saying the bubble hasnt even started yet
checked. it was only meant to be a little prank for the newfags, but it went too far because now there are only newfags here and they are actually holding it and relentlessly shilling. it is literally completely out of fucking control.
yeah, that's what I've been doing in 2017. but fcking US will tax crypto-to-crypto trades now so it makes it harder.
I've been holding LINK since presale and I think it's almost a year now so I'll hold that for long term capital gains. I went all-in for this presale with w/e I had in my bank account ($100k).
However, I cashed out my initial principle when I thew $40k into GVT ico and sold around $3 - $9
crypto market is no more than a mere ant compared in its size to that of a human, a market cap of 300bil? that nothing, you have one company in the stock market which is worth more than that. it's really hard to define where the money of the world is but you can use this to understand the conecpt of it (though its a bit old) marketwatch.com
people call january 'euphoria' moment of crypto that makes me laugh, you dont see the bigger picture, the real shit hasnt even started yet
what year do you think the real shit will start?
it's really hard to tell and up to the companies which are driving blockchain into our daily life, remember that on january, most of the shit occured because the news about bitcoin came to the normies, they flooded the market with coins, which coins they knew about? the most knew only about bitcoin and others knew also about ethereum and ripple. so for you to say you made it, you need blockchain to be something that normies understand and use, once companies will finish developing their systems and will offer better services for lower prices (because of the benefits of their blockchain based system), and people will have more privacy when using their applications. the normies will eventually understand blockchain is better. my prediction is that we need to wait at least 2-3 years until something that big on a global scale will occur and that's only *if* blockchain will succeed. i also think that the biggest boost to blockchain (or crash) will come becasue of today's giants. imagine facebook, with all the shit that's going on, will develop their own blockchain and will promise privacy, they already have hundreds of milions of users, so blockchain will jump to the biggest league, that just one of many examples i can give to you
Which coins you got?
>>Which coins you got?
there you go user, read all my comments before rushing in or out
Yeah it's the same thing, we didn't actually fucking expect ETH to blow up like it did, nobody saw 2017 coming because it was fucking retarded.
do you have a "go through tactic" to read white papers without technical background?
>that feel when be 21st Century Digital Colonizer
>coinolizer
>RLC
you're gonna make it user
this board was making fun of eth buyers until early 2017 (it never really stopped desu)
i work as an integration engineer so tech is pretty easy for me, as for you, without technical background i recommend start learning by yourself, whenever you come across something related to any topic you dont understand, stop reading the whitepaper and look for it on google, it will be pain in the beginning because you will come across many things you dont know but after a few whitepapers it will be easier, if you are doing a research, there are no shortcuts.
ZIL top 3 eoy or early-mid 2019 unironically, i hope Jow Forums keeps it quite for accumulate more, but they probably overlook it..
thanks dude. :) do you think ai will be some big thing in the future? some coins you mentioned, are doing ai business...isn't it?
i really recommend you to read the whitepaper of bottos if you are into AI, it's really interesting and will definitly be a big thing in the future, think about the implementations - self driving cars, house keeper, voice assistant, medical health. now, for AI, data is like what food is to a kid, a kid needs to eat lots of food and preferably healthy food in order to grow up, as for AI, the more data it gathers, the smarter it becomes. bottos for example will create an AI ecosystem where you can sell your data thus turning your personal data (which today is controlled by the giants) into a new asset which you can sell. there are many use cases for this tech so i really recommend you to start reading it
will do. :)
It won't be like ethereum. Ethereum was developed by some really autistic but also very capable fags like vitalik, Link is a joke from a developer's standpoint really.
It can't.
nice argument
Link is not a meme. Some people just don't like to share, so there's a massive FUD campaign with some pretty impressive reverse shilling.
