Everyone here speaks perfect english because we're all autists who spend all day on the internet. If you actually travel around you'll see that in most countries even here in europe people speak english either not at all or a2 level at max combined with hand gestures just to get by. Exeptions would be the netherlands, sweden and germay to some degree.

Its one of those language where you can improvise and make up words on the spot which actually exist and mean what they're suppost to mean mostly following simple logic. Chinese is the only relevant language that isn't spoken alongside English, so that's what I recommend for practicality. However Chinese is also possibly the most difficult major language to learn, so you're going to have to really want it.
