Does anyone have N5 past papers?

I assume she gets close to his seat when she enters/leaves the classroom throughout the day, which uses up her courage

Why are you so interested in these? Just for self evaluation?

I don't think that's possible, since Shimamura has the window seat in the 3rd row while her seat is the first one on the door side.

youtube.com/watch?v=gvJP8PA1DsM

well, I can't make sense of it otherwise and there's the いつも in the ここからしまむらのところへ向かうのに、いつも少しだけ勇気が必要になる。
so apparently that's a thing that happens regularly, maybe her friends are sitting close to him or something

Shimamura is her only friend. At this point im pretty sure im overlooking something, I will check it tomorrow again.

there's also the 人目につくところで which could be much farer away
maybe you just underestimate the autism in this scene

Where in gods name does this katakana abomination originate from?

It's not the "repeated" event of actually going to her desk, but the endless cycle of trying and failing to, burning up all her courage in the process.

That's the 繰り返し

段ボール箱 but with ゴミ instead. Gotta love authors using more katanakana than Kanji

ボール is "board," and the 段 comes from the inside part looking like stairs (階段).

ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/段ボール
>段ボールの名は、原紙にボール紙(ボールは英語のboardに由来)を用いていたことと、断面の波型が階段状に見えることによる。

Man...(because/therefore? what the fuck?) I always say "don't be a slave to common sense"
You never say that. Stop trying to look cool.
Um, Nano san, you don't have to be so ( No fucking clue. Jisho is useless as usual.)
Aside from being a witch, I'm just a normal girl like you. (No idea what ってこと means. Something the author made up?)
So if you want, I'd like to be friends.
Um...
My name...
Isn't Nano, it's Nao.
New students please go to the Gymnasium.

I think the last line kinda clarifies it if I'm not misunderstanding it. 日野 and 永藤 also head to her desk (around the same time, moment?) which makes them hesitant to try and talk to her first.

I don't think she is explaining why she can't approach his desk in that line. It is past tense. She is saying that the 繰り返し of approaching his desk every day, when she was doing it, always drained her of the courage she had built up that day, and so she could not save up courage across multiple days.

Oh yeah, I forgot you said
>, because the character never went to Shimamuras desk before
I think you are mistaken about this.
>これで二日ほどしまむらの声を聞いていない
This sure makes it sound like she was doing so until two days ago.

だからオレがいつも言ってるだろ that's why I've always said

気を張らなくても大丈夫ですよ you don't need to be so apprehensive/uptight/cautious (depends on context)

魔女ってことを除けば except for the whole "being a witch" thing

You should join a translation group as their translator

Attached: DJT translating.png (1339x1754, 1.32M)

Maybe japs should speak a real language or at least learn how to speak their own language correctly.

>魔女ってこと = 魔女ということ

So the author was making shit up. Good. I think I'll just talk and write like Boomhaur from now on and see how many nips can understand me.

If you get rid of the "witch" part, then...

We're not so different, you and I.

Two normals of from the same woman's child who was you and me. (joking, you already understand this)

Are you upset?

That I'm having my time wasted? Yes. I wanted to learn Japanese, not every individual authors made up bullshit version of Japanese. What if you were trying to learn English and everything was written in Ebonics or hillbilly gibberish?

better get used to the slang, if you can't understand it then it means you don't actually understand japanese grammar on its deepest level

You have to know the rules to know how to break the rules

And real soyboy opinion but I'll say it anyways: African American Vernacular English is just as complete and comprehensive as any linguistic dialect

I guess if I don't understand the lyrics to Gummo then I don't understand English on its "deepest level."

It seems you might like to read a regular textbook more in this case.
>What if you were trying to learn English and everything was written in Ebonics or hillbilly gibberish?
You might not notice as a native English speaker but it's very similar for conversational English as well if you come from the grammar / textbook version.

makes sense to me

I apologize, which of these is more correct?

"I try to draw a cat"

>not every individual authors made up bullshit version of Japanese
how do you even think languages are formed you ignorant buffoon

don't bother with output at this stage, you'll produce nothing but gibberish and learn little

Well how do I learn if I don't experiment?

read, translate for yourself (Jap -> English) and understand what is being said. Repeat that for a year and see where it gets you.

Well, here you go.
Huh?
I said earlier that I wanted to get you a present.
This mandrake is a symbol of our friendship.

Is orbiting a female twitch streamer a good way to learn practical Japanese?

Is her mic not shit? Then the answer is yes

How come Japan is 日本 and not 日国 like basically every other country?

Except for being a witch

Q.Which is correct?
N1: E -> B -> C -> F -> A -> D
N2: C -> A -> F -> B -> E -> D
N3: B -> E -> A -> F -> D -> C
N4: A -> D -> F -> C -> E -> B

I think the assumption that this is the first time Adachi has visited Shimamura's desk is not correct. It may be the first time she is depicted doing so, but it is implied she has done so before.

I want to make a anki deck that is core 6k but reversed so that the english translation is the front and you have to guess the nihongo word

and I want it to be completely separate from my core progress, how do I do this? I know it involves a new note type but if anyone has some anki mastery to share please do

I write English dialogue the way that native English speakers speak English in real life.

I've got no clue, but from guessing I'd say that 国 コク is of Chinese origin

I started limiting myself to only 10 new words mined a day or 500 lines then I stop reading.

How would you translate 一派 here, as disciples or something?

Since thread is about to die anyway:
Is anybody able to get ankiweb.net/shared/info/932119536 to work? I tried following the steps, but it just does nothing

it would depend on who あいつ is and what kind of group he is a part of

just a guy who taught a bunch of students, the person talking has a grudge against him for putting him in jail for 10 years

I didn't ask about a grudge or about how long whoever has been in jail. Why do you insist on glossing over important information and yet including random trivia that has nothing to do with your question? You are bad at asking questions.

It could be: his faction, his supporters, his clique, his cabal

The recent high temperature days will continue.
It will be hot again during the day.
It seems like signs of spring are coming.
Ah, there you are Papa.
A little (no idea).
Is now okay?
Huh? (gibberish)

As part of my witch studies I though I'd study plants.
So I wanted to try growing some vegetables.
It's fine If it's small, so is there any land I can use?

Best you can do for defusing this guy is download the anime and see how the translators did it.

He also said there are tools you can use.
Ah, I understand.

Why you feel the need to spam every single page here instead of just one or two points you don't get is beyond me

That's because mum smoked ice when she was pregnant with you. Asking people to explain what I don't know without showing I'm also putting in effort myself is just lazy.

>Asking people to explain what I don't know without showing I'm also putting in effort myself is just lazy
Ah, I guess you have no choice but to spam every fucking page then

Are you on the spectrum?

I must be if I find your endless dribble annoying as fuck mate

Then go elsewhere.

>シャンパ「全然 似てねえし。」
>シャンパ「俺は 流行のオリーブオイル顔。」
>シャンパ「ビルスとあいつは 古くさいソース顔っしょ!」
what the hell is olive oil supposed to mean here? It seems completely out of place and jisho doesn't list it as slang for anything

Ah, I forgot this is your house now. My bad, I'll see myself right out :^)

Well I'm glad you're patience enough. I don't feel like grooming translators over just comprehension

Meanwhile you and the Pole practically live in these threads endlessly spamming off topic nonesense. Why don't you fuck off?
At least the other user is learning Japanese and reading instead of posting random images, memes and youtube links.

Attached: karakaijouzu3.png (655x868, 683K)

I ask for explanations from the native or パンツ屋 from time to time though.
I refrain from spamming like a shitcunt and just learn what I need to on my own sometimes, call the cops

your petty bullshit fights are ruining the thread, stop it

>Scatter, scatter!!
it could be more like "dismissed" in an arrogant way, or might be kinda similar to "fuck off".
Im an English learner and don't find a that kind of definition of "scatter" , so Im just nitpicking. sorry.

You can use scatter to tell someone to leave/fuck off.

As another ESL I'd say "scatter" doesn't sound that natural

I dont think its that common, but saying Crowds scatter is not wrong.
news.sky.com/video/crowds-scatter-as-rubber-balls-fired-by-police-11062664

Really? news to me

It does sound natural, you just never heard it used like that.

You should learn english before japanese
