This confuses and enrages the American
This confuses and enrages the American
We have those literally everywhere in Houston although I have never seen a single person use it, dunno why
>I like getting my identity stolen

How much cash do Americans carry on them?
A small million dollar bundle of daddy's money
Voi reipas
you really need to be retarded for that to happen, oh sorry
I generally carry 40-80 on me
My parents/boomers carry hundreds
>he thinks a million dollars is a lot
Maybe in Mississippi or somewhere like Poland. Is the Europoor meme true? I’m assuming you’re referencing the “small loan of a million dollars” trump meme. Let me ask you, how long do you think 1 million dollars will last you owning property in Manhattan? Let alone real estate? (Even after adjusting for inflation) Trump is a walking facade for the most part but if he unironically made what he has out of 1mil in NYC that’s pretty impressive
Gas station down my street had their pumps shut down for a few days because people’s bank accounts were getting jacked after using said pumps. (The only option at a pump is manually scanning the card, unless you go inside to pay then you have the option to pay via poverty (contactless))
>RFID scanners aren't super cheap and easy to use
No thanks, i'll keep using the chip reader
so instead of going inside you choose to be retarded, congratulations you are truly american
no it doesn't
why is this an every day thread?
We have it but most people don't use it.
t. confused and enraged American
i prefer using cash too, with tap cards you lose track of how much you’re spending
We have those but I don't like them.
First, I don't like paying cashless to begin with. I always pay in cash whenever possible. Notable exceptions include online shopping and booking a flight.
Second: it seems like a huge design failure. What is the point of using a card that was designed to be inserted into slots, and then just hold it in front of a scanner?
jesus christ germany
>it desigen to be inserted
>holding not cool
its easier to just beep it instead of inserting it, get a bit more flexible you germanic robot
You fucking moron.
A lot of people still use cash here.
i don't like when things change
don't worry nobody wants to be fat and stupid your identity is safe
>I always pay in cash whenever possible
Do you also deal drugs?
based
Wait what? Do americans not use credit cards? It's the first time I'm hearing this.
we don't use the contactless cards, we have to either swipe or insert the card into a chip reader. Wireless cards are dangerous anyways because some guy could scan your card without even taking it out of your pocket
I prefer to use the chip
but mostly I prefer cash, I don't want to be tracked
>be a cashier
>chip reader is broken so people must swipe unless they have contactless
>people with contactless cards try to swipe
>machine picks up both methods and throws an error
>have to tell them to do it again
>this happens on an hourly basis
>put a sign on my register explaining how contactless works
>get long lecture from manager about how telling people to swipe again is "engaging the customer" before she tears up and throws away my beautiful sign
