>Chairman of the SEC talked about blockchains >literally said that "technology is the future"
And that's where Dero comes into play.
Dero is the first cryptocurrency blockchain to:
- Have complete SSL in the P2P layer - 8-second blocktime and 99-second confirmation time with 500 tps and no orphan blocks - Remove the 51% attack vulnerability altogether - Implement bulletproofs - Implement BlockDAG
Dero will be the first cryptocurrency blockchain to:
- Implement private smart contracts on its native chain without any lightning networks, validators, or off-blockchain solutions by the end of Q3
Other Accomplishments:
- Its GUI Wallets are still on track to be released in Q2 - Atomic swaps are also on track to be released in Q2 - Dero Virtual Machine (DVM) to be released in Q3 - Unique consensus algorithm
You can literally contact a dev on their Slack channel very quickly if you have any questions to ask or want to learn more.
Why do you think Dero has been attacked so viciously over these past few weeks? How can no actual serious FUD has been presented in these past few weeks, and all you see is ridiculous over-the-time FUD like an infinite premine or sex allegations?
Smart people have already bought Dero, so I'm not shilling it. For those of you who have bought it: How much do you have? What are your goals with this investment?
>- Atomic swaps are also on track to be released in Q2 if private coins actually become illegal then this is the biggest thing.

why are the devs anonymous? is this or bis the xrb of 2018?
Zachary Turner
Why is the maker of Bitcoin anonymous?
Even though the devs of Dero are anonymous, both of the identities of the community manager and main chat moderator are both known.
Ayden Phillips
Devs are researchers working already in blockchain field with military contractor under NDA.
Austin Wilson
This is baseless FOMO with no proof at all. Dero has more than enough positives to make up nonsense like that.
Luis Perry
will the devs ever reveal themselves? why is the tps only 50 instead of promised 500?
Chase Ross
"The process that end with the devs revealing themselves has started" said the community manager (although they are really known in crypto world, just not in connection with Dero)
Aaron Garcia
BlockDAG could reach 1000 tps throughput, but you have to deal with the average Internet speed limit of each user.
And keep in mind testnet use a special daemon in debug mode with lower performance.
Jordan Gutierrez
sounds like it's running into the same problems as Nano then
this is sort of the appeal of skycoin imo, because "miners" are incentivised to upgrade their hardware and not clog the network with low quality connections...
Thomas Nelson
What the point to have a decentralized network if only a few could use it ?
Not everyone could afford a 10 mb download and upload Internet speed.
Logan Collins
to reach* the 500 tps.

Dero does sound pretty cool. But whenever i've gone to ask a question about how it works, it's either "Wait for the source code", or "We can't tell you yet", so you have to both believe that the code is all there, and it's vulnerability free. Like, when you ask about how it's immune to 50% attacks, no-one will tell you.
hah, it's been confirmed by Serena on the discord.... interesting ! grabbing the popcorn

The consensus isn't anymore the longer chain, Dero use somethin called blockDAG (we don't know if it's SPECTRE or PHANTOM or both or a even custom protocol ) instead of blockchain.
