Do they forget how to speak their own language after using English to often?

Not to mention you struggle with your own native language despite being American.

14:00 I'll have you know

It's not that they love it more than other countries, it is just that they are more developed and everyone can afford the internet.

Do we?

Are you a Sami?

Swedish students get gigabit for 99 kr/mo. 100/100 mbps is free. Foreign students get 10/10 mbps and have to pay 350 kr/mo for 2008-tier speeds of 100/100.

Very jealous

You should visit Tromsö some time. One of Norway's most aesthetic cities

Attached: Tromsø.jpg (1536x900, 749K)

Tromsö is more like a town, not really a city. But yes, it can be beautiful there
Many of the recognizeable posters in /norgetråden/ are actually either from or currently living in Tromsö, lol

looks comfy

Are they really all like that?
Celebrated my 20th birthday and the 2010 New year there! Absolutely amazing city.

post some arctic NA towns

I've seen many pictures of that place. it's very beautiful, at least in pictures. I take it you've been there in person?

the men are pale ugly retards with tiny dicks.

nordic women are out at nightclubs getting fucked by arab/somali immigrants. they love big black and brown cocks.

whoa

Attached: aurora.jpg (854x854, 107K)

Indeed! My 3 favourite Norwegian cities, aesthetics-wise, are Bergen, Tromsö and Trondheim in that order. Funny how Oslo doesn't even make the list, but I'd probably put it as #4. Bergen in particular really is gorgeous

Pic is from Vågen, just in front of Bryggen (UNESCO world heritage site, sadly not visible here).

Attached: Bergen snø.jpg (639x426, 69K)

You don't have to say arctic, since the same applies for the non-arctic parts of our countries.

Can you guys sleep well?
I'm interested in it since child days.

I have, but only once. Norway is absurdly long even in global terms (European countries are usually small as you know), so it's a very long trip up there. I live down south.

Wonderful. I've been to Bergen as well, some of the most amazing scenery I have ever seen.
And I agree, Oslo isn't that fun. Reminds me too much of Stockholm.
One of my own favorites is Hammerfest. When the northern lights play over the ocean it's just stupid how beautiful it is.

Attached: 1526853787066.jpg (749x1011, 183K)

pic is Fairbanks, Alaska. The only real Arctic town in America. It's technically just south of the Arctic circle though. Either way, not very comfy

Attached: Opening+Veterans%27+Memorial.jpg (2048x1365, 1003K)

What do you mean?
Midnight sun (daylight 24/7) or polar nights (dark 24/7)? We have them both.

I am jealous of Nords. I know many Europeans say that your cities look ugly, but to an American they look beautiful.

I meant midnight.

Attached: penis_size_by_race.jpg (600x340, 38K)

I want to live in perpetual night and see the aurora too. Not fair :(

I haven't seen many europeans say that our cities are ugly, lol. Maybe I just dodge the trash talking threads, but I don't think anyone actually thinks that e.g. Bergen is ugly.

>2-3 hour days for 4 months
literally no point in lying about it, retard

Well, thick curtains that block all sunlight helps.
But it can be difficult.
I sleep less in summer but I don't get tired.

>8.8
>Asian is the most

LOL

we have tons of cities that look like this in sweden

>I want to live in perpetual night
I don't want to sound condescending, but no you don't. The sun is absolutely essential for your physical and mental health and you only realise how important it is when it's gone for months at a time and have to start taking vitamin D supplements and use custom lamps.
And I live in southern Norway so it's not even that bad down here.

Thanks

Not lying. From the beginning of October to December the days are absurdly short. Starting out with around 5-6 hours and shrinking to less than 45 minutes.
Then, my December the sun goes away completely for about a month.
Once it rises again the days get longer in a faster pattern but still, at least another month with very short days before the spring sun stays up longer.

Have you never been north?

Attached: nordlys.gif (540x540, 359K)

I'm not saying they aren't shorter, but it is literally physically impossible for you to 2 hour days only a month after the autumn equinox

They appreciate fun, knowledge, some baudy playfulness and occasionally a spirited discussion. This is a great fit for them and I'm glad they participate as much as they do.

perhaps, i read ofthis many times. Still i want to try it. I know it's not as good as it sounds but let me dream

Very american graph

Not when we are surrounded by hills and mountains. Sun doesn't reach us like it does down south. And I didn't say it went dark like that over night, it gradually happens.

Come visit the Jokkmokk Christmas market sometime. Then drive up to Kiruna and enjoy the town.
A week should give you an idea of how the eternal darkness feels like.
Some people like it, some people do not. Most people accept it since we have no choice.
For me it doesn't matter, when the sun goes down for the last time and the month of darkness begins I just bunker up with candles, sun lights (that mimic natural light) and plenty of vitamins etc. Keeps me going.

just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there user and it still lights up the sky
>down south
I live in ume

Looking into applying for masters degree programs in your country. I have found some programs in Bergen and Ås. Would I be bored to death?

I am also an /out/doors men and think the South of Norway is not where I should be.

if you're black or hispanic, you're gonna easily get laid in norway.

norwegian blondes love getting fucked hard by swarthy men. straight up pounded and creampied with so much cum, it leaks out and drips down their thighs

>tfw I will never be a family doctor living in Tromsö
Sad!

You don't want to spend more than a month in northern Scandinavia. There was a Dane who said his exchange classmate got depressed and skipped class because of the darkness in winter. And that's Denmark.
Also, visit Gotland when you're here.

If you're an outdoorsman who also wants to study for a masters, there is literally no better city in Norway than Bergen. UiB (Universitetet i Bergen) is in many ways the country's 2nd best or best uni depending on what you're studying, and there is plenty of wild nature literally next door. Bergen is famous for being surrounded by 7 mountains.
>pic:
View from "Vidden", a big plateau between mountains Floyen and Ulriken, 6 hours across at a relaxing pace. Floyen is a 10 minute walk from the UiB campus and is a very popular mountain to hike, albeit not very challenging at all.

Is this actually true, though? There seems to be more Scandinavians in this thread so maybe they can tell the honest truth.

Don't give him any (you)s.

>There seems to be more Scandinavians in this thread so maybe they can tell the honest truth.
scandinavian men are probably going to deny that their women love having sex with exotic men

Damn it, so close.

I guess that means no.

>I guess that means no.

Do you honestly think Scandinavian women would prefer pale pig-skinned blond "man" over a tan dark-haired Fernando Martinez?

Went looking at Ås on google street view and found this pics related:

Absolutely Based!

Thanks for the tip. It would suck being is such a beautiful and unique place but only being able to enjoy it for a couple of months in the summer.
Yes, I want to visit Gotland and make a pilgrimage to Ingmar Bergmans home.

Thank you for the information.
Norway does have a few semi long distance trails that I would love to explore, but as an American in the west I am just spoiled for choice over here.

Attached: Screen Shot 2018-12-14 at 6.05.05 PM.png (934x626, 848K)

it's a shame what some americans will do to get European (you)s lmao
Must be humiliating!

If you end up in Scandinavia and are willing to travel for a good hike, there's always the legendary Kungsleden.

Got lost after fleeing all those years ago, Thórir?

Lost? Lmfao I came here purposefully to live under the Respected Marshal's loving leadership and guidance, I even get to post online but I have to use Icelandic proxy. BTW no Icelander with any self-respect uses Th in his name.
