American English is not taught at school.
It is a very advanced language.
The majority don't you FOOLISH, PITIFUL MAN

i type lad (never say it irl) ironically
whenever I see a non-American use dude, bro or awesome it makes me die a little inside
That's because the UK is an irrelevant middle power while USA shapes global culture and whatever language they use is lingua franca.
I was taught British English in school, and I make the conscious effort to use British spelling when writing, even if it means fighting American English autocorrect and spellcheck.
Spaniard students are taught British English sadly ( u ω u )
I don't make the différence
You would be dead then in Switzerland
why don't you switch it to euro english
"English" is NORTH AMERICAN language, it should be referred to as AMERICAN. Same with "Portuguese", it's rightful name is BRAZILIAN, and "SPANISH" should be HISPANOAMERICAN
