How much of your net worth should you spend on a car? is 10% the sweet spot? I can buy a 2018 ecoboost mustang, should I go for it?

Kys faggot. Drive a used 4 door sedan until a lambo is 1 percent of your net worth.
> mustang
> four cylinder
just go buy a fucking srt4 neon homo
These fucking fags and these cookie cutter “muscle cars”. My neighbor is 17 and works at Best Buy part time, he just bought one of these with $500 down payment, his monthly payments are $825 and he only makes $900/month. You remind me of him.
You said it man, 10% is the sweet spot , no more
10% is way too high.
>ecoboost
Who the fuck buys a 4 cylinder muscle car?
IF this was the sweet spot then my uncle could spend $580,000,000 on a car and that strikes me as excessive.
has nothing to do with your net worth.
You spend what something efficient, safe and reliable costs, anything else is retarded.
10% of your networth on car(depreciating asset)? What are you? A dumb nigger? Stay poor, retard.
How much for would he pay for me to suck his dick and will he be gentle?
I have $180k in my 401k and $30k in savings with $2k in my checking account.
I bought a used 2015 chevy impala for $9k through my job. They have a employee discount program so I bought the car at cost (at cost being what the dealer lot paid for it).
I earn $75k/year.
I don’t think he’d do that.
>10% of networth for a car
>10% of networth for a shitty overpriced plastic car
If you own your house then spend whatever you want in a car, just make sure you won't go bankrupted afterwards
>dream car is 20% of networth
>watching vids of it everyday
>sit in it at dealership
>check online listings everyday praying for a cheap one
I WANT IT SO BAD
>mustang
plebeian taste, friendo
Was going to buy one earlier this year, got new camry instead
Was going to buy the gt
*snap*
Aww shit man. My dream car is around 40-50% of my net worth.
I would buy something way better but I'm keeping it 10%
Lol. Median car price is 10% of my net.
1%
Follow up: Depends on where you live, in large cities with massive traffic having a car is just idiotic. A great e-bike will cost you a year's worth of gasoline and probably cut your commute. Ubering everyday, where I live, is also cheaper than maintaining a car. Also, gas might hit 100 USD a barrel again, so I think it's just stupid to own one in my context.
If you buy something reliable that lasts then it's worth it. I bought my 1st car 10 months ago. It'll be paid off in 3 years and I plan on driving it for the next 10-15 years. Better than leasing and constantly padding Mr Shekelstein's pockets
Fuck yeah that's what I did.
not even 0.01%
get a dirt cheap but long-lasting car, like one Varg has.
I own a golf 4 MK4 in gold edition (pretty rare) and put a license plate named pikachu on it kek.
Don't get the ecoboost. Get the v6 at least. If you're going for a 4 cylinder car choose an import or something
my net worth is my car. i have no other assets. except $3000 in eth.
I wouldn't spend more than 2-3%, but I guess it depends on your financial goals in life. if you already made and don't feel like you need more money to live the lifestyle you want then I guess spending 10% can be reasonable. I have close to 700k and want to reach 2MM before I feel like I made it. Spending 70k would set me back almost 2 years.
They stopped making the V6 for this generation
I have $200k worth of rentals.
$150k in crypto. Drive an 04 Camry that is literal white trash tier.
But I am absofuckinglutely fasttracking getting to a 3rd world country or eastern euro country and buying my time back. All depends on your priorities
0.1%. No lambo for me until 300 million
>tfw car I want is 100% my networth
Rip.
Under 5% of yearly income or you're a nigger
in all seriousness though, you're never going to make $300 mil and if you do your'e a fucking delusional child. That said, would you really buy an impractical car like a lambo? Why not a nice Jaguar suv or Cayenne or something with utility?
10 percent is too much. Aim for 2 percent. That said, I rented an Ecoboost convertible a couple months ago and it was decent to drive, it was brisk up to the top speed limiter of ~122 mph, comfortable ride, reasonable handling on all-seasons. Downsides: seats didn't go back nearly far enough, and needed more damping, felt like it was 'galloping' and picking its wheels up a bit too much at high speeds
Overall had more than adequate power with straight up bad fuel milage when caning it
1% at most
there is no possible circumstance in which you should buy an ecoboost mustang regardless of whether you are poor or fabulously rich
lmao at all these poorfags saying less than 10% of networth. it’s not about networth our buying when it comes to cars you fucking cucked caucasoid neanderthals. its about credit, cashflow and leasing expensive cars to maintain status. you all sound like delusional wanna be buffets
>make 45k/year
>just bought $30k car
Fuk mayne, it sure is nice but i really wish I had extra money instead of spending it on a car payment. Don't buy into the new car meme senpai
Around 1%. Anything above that and you are an idiot.
