maybe as part of a massive gaslighting program to keep its principals out of trouble for selling unregistered securities?
Ripple (the company) couldnt figure out a good way to explain to people that there is a difference between them and the currency XRP that exists on their platform so they changed the logo of the currency trying to get people to understand. Their fb page is always full of normies yelling at them about the price of their stock. Id feel bad for coin devs having to deal with that if they werent making millions dumping their coins every month.
they didn't even do it everywhere
press f5, they just updated it minutes ago. i noticed right away because i obsessively refresh cmc.
Look closer OP.
go back to your frat house. i can't believe this is a thing again, kids were doing this shit 20 years ago and it was gay then.
You do realize that since you looked that it actually means that you are, well, nevermnd. As mentioned earlier, Ripple has started an initiative to separate their coin (XRP) from the company. Even as far as to have people stop calling the coin "Ripple." The new X logo may look ugly but it will help with the adoption of the XRP name.
it doesn't mean anything other than that you wasted your time making a shitty .png in paint and are a virgin.
What kind of fucking name is XRP though
"yo gimme some XRP nigga"
the community voted for this new symbol and logo at
xrpsymbol.com
You can make fun of my virginity all day OP but don't you ever fucking talk shit about the portable network graphics file format.
As far as the quality: it's on purpose. I enlarged your bitch ass copy-pasted image and resized it.
By the way, to further answer your initial question, I found this quote that sums it up quite well: "In order for XRP to be perceived as a ‘currency’, it needs its own symbol. Just like the dollar sign ‘$’, XRP needs a universal sign that denotes units of XRP. The current logo being used works great when referencing ‘Ripple’ the company, and it should not be changed, but a character should be created to represent actual units of the digital asset. Bitcoin, for instance, uses the ₿ symbol within an orange circle in an angle, and additional symbols have been suggested for the actual units, e.g .: ₿, Ƀ or ฿. This repository intends to allow collaboration to create the ubiquitous XRP units symbol that we can use to display the amount of XRP.”
Well since I work for Ripple this is fairly simple, corperate wants for weak hands to dump their bags so that our partners at centralized banks can buy a larger bag of coins. While we didn't want to do anything to hurt the integrity of the technology behind Ripple, we decided that a new shitty logo of two nipples (as seen above) would do the job.
Also, my job position in the company is bagholder.
>copy pasted
yep, because that's possible. by the way, i didn't read that paragraph that it probably took a brainlet like yourself more than ten minutes to type out, let that simmer faggot.
way worse than the walton rebrand.
this has got to be a dump n pump
ripple is one thing that should be classified as a security
Thank you for noticing. I try to put qualitiy in all of my posts. A lot of people just assume "user put that together in 2 seconds" but I appreciate you focusing on the small things you gay boi bitch I'm not here to go on a date with you. I'm just to talk about Ripple.
fuck, i just saw that site where they had the "community" vote on which logo they should go with. they literally chose one that had 3000 votes... three fucking thousand. there are over 125,000 wallets that hold xrp. what brainlet let 3% of the community decide the future of their brand instead of hiring a professional marketing team? i swear they're trying to crash the coin on purpose, the second highest voted logo was basically a copy/paste of REQ's logo. pic related.
>qualitiy
>im just to talk about ripple
fidget spinner has survived for years they're dumb to abandon it
