makes me sad when I see Euros are falling for the skyscraper meme

>burger proxy at it again

Shitty thread kys

How is it a meme? You need to build as much housing in as small an area as possible.

Anything under 30 stories shouldn't even be allowed to be built within 25km of the city's core.

The only people that didn't want it were commies.

>You need to build as much housing in as small an area as possible.
no you don't, there is no rule for this especially in a low pop city.
>Anything under 30 stories shouldn't even be allowed to be built within 25km of the city's core.
you need space between tall buildings or risk city becoming soulless

Lame. Shouldve made it look like Sputnik 1's rocket.

Yes you do if you want to make efficient use of land and make sure supply is high enough for it to be affordable. And yet people call suburban neighborhoods soulless all the same. At least with high rise buildings you have an enhanced sense of community and easy access to utilities and resources such as parks, shopping places, public transit, and swimming pools. It encourages walking which is much better than almost mandatory car use.

Well it's companies who buy up lots who can build whatever the fuck they want on it. We need regulations.

this government wants to build a train in this area, to boost tourism

"""new"""
the new berlin airport has been in planning since 1991 and was supposed to open in 2011 and cost 787 million € (now its gonna cost at least 6 milliards)
it's a colossal shitshow of everything that can go wrong in planning

We really need to find a new thing that isn't tourism, relying on it so much will fuck us over eventually.

That's cool and all but we need the airport.
Operating Santa Lucia and the current airport at the same time is just asking for complaints from travellers, specially since they're relatively far from each other, and assuming they go with the idea of one doing international flights and another doing national flights that means people would have to have even more time between flights so they can do a connection flight to another country.

Pinche FIFI ardido y todo meco jajajaja

I'm just someone who works in aviation and would benefit work wise if texcoco had been built.
Now that it's santa Lucia is just end up with double the amount of work.

is that a giant lake of mud

I think this is the biggest project in the city. It was already confirm and there are some billboards showcasing the project around the area where it's supposed to be but there's nothing of construction so far
I know my city won't suffer from this. At least, not that much

Probably. We also have a giant artificial swamp in the middle of the city due to an abandoned project, it even has fishes in there

>exposed carpark next to skyscraper
didn't know poles were mutts until now, you should make it underground and build a green space or something.

Attached: 1543747657219.jpg (387x461, 31K)

weird shit I hope they don't do this
and yes that's a ferris wheel

Attached: pic_5_3542018_k2146992_1200.jpg (1200x680, 89K)

this lot doesn't belong to the developer who is building that skyscraper (it will have few underground parking lots as it is more common now to encourage people to use public transport), there's another skyscraper planned in that carpark but it will take several years until construction begins so now it serves as a temporary carpark

fair enough, you just don't want to end up looking like this

Attached: 5600.jpg (1200x630, 157K)

but these carparks are gradually removed and new skyscrapers are built there over time

what's wrong with using an empty lot as a temporary carpark? would it be better if it was just a useless lawn?

Well, Amsterdam and Rotterdam are growing quite fast as expected
