It always amazed me how the wings are so long and it can take so much weight without breaking apart.
Although i guess when on maintenance the screws that hold them are basically shot.

performed 10+ ground strikes with pic related already , looking like it's gonna replace our sufa\raam planes

Not only that, but the B-52 airframe is well over 50 years old. Entered service during JFK's administration.

Sure they're older than our parents but they still do the job, but now it's more expensive to opr8.

Haven't heard of recent attacks desu, only one which a missile was launched outside of Syrian Airspace.

I think the Meteor was everyone's "first jet", so many countries operated at the time.

Attached: file.png (1280x815, 1.66M)

didnt the soviets steal the engine designes from that plane or was it some other anglo plane ?
pic related phantom 2 with 3 enemy kills

pic related is fairly legendary , it's the f16 with the most air kills in the world with 6.5 kills (one kill shared with another plane) in addition to a nuclear reactor kill and countless other ground attacks .
has been retired since 2015 and even has it's own wiki article

Got this from wiki article.

>At this point the Meteor pilots were still forbidden to fly over German-occupied territory, or to go east of Eindhoven, to prevent a downed aircraft being captured by the Germans or the Soviets.[112]

But it was the beginning of the cold-war so they probably did.

Attached: file.png (960x500, 757K)

i just remember reading somewhere about the soviets getting all their jet tech from rolce royce, i think the anglos even sold them the engines but made them sign a 'no military use' document or something

Attached: chrome_2018-12-17_18-58-43.png (280x481, 80K)

>i think the anglos even sold them the engines but made them sign a 'no military use' document or something

Not very intelligent desu senpai.

anglos were broke as fuck at the time IIRC

also pic related , first use of modern drones in war .used by the israeli airforce during operation protea of the south african border war
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Protea
using tadiran and scout drones .
sounds weird to me as an israeli because now the taridan company is known here for manufacturing really good air conditioners .

Attached: chrome_2018-12-17_19-10-13.png (677x493, 334K)

Sure, but selling sensible tech to the Soviets under a "childish" promise that they don't do bad with it is quite dumb.

Which model of drone was?
Also it's not new for companies to make completely different products, like many Japanese companies such as Mitsubishi and Kawasaki makes Cars, Bikes, TV's while at the same time they are building rockets, missiles and airplaes.

Attached: file.png (620x380, 183K)

pic related , was made in the late 70s
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IAI_Scout

and it just surprised me because most of our military industry is government owned and government owned companies obviously dont manufacture a/c , i wasnt aware we had any private military industry until a read that stuff .

basically the french embargoed israel during war , we had to send commandos to invade france and steal our completed ships we paid for from french ports , at that point israeli leadership decided israel has to be self sufficient in military industry , since then we manufacture tanks, ships, planes and most of the shit the IDF uses .

Attached: 1200px-IAIScout.jpg (1200x800, 208K)

Here it was state owned and then privatized, like Embraer, Avibras and AEL(which is owned by Elbit now).

>basically the french embargoed israel during war , we had to send commandos to invade france and steal our completed ships we paid for from french ports, at that point israeli leadership decided israel has to be self sufficient in military industry, since then we manufacture tanks, ships, planes and most of the shit the IDF uses.

These operations are always fascinating, recently i watched a movie on Netflix about a Israeli operation to kidnap a former SS Officer in Argentina and take him back to Israel to be judged.

Attack helicopter that can climb upto an altitude of 6000 m

6,500 it seems.

Training aircraft or is this actually part of your airforce?

One of my fav gifs

Even training aircraft are part of airforce.
Also yes.

I guess, would be fun hunting down terrorists and pakis from that altitude

We actually bought one of your embraers.. seems useful for intel gathering

Why are you posting only old planes? We have new planes too

They're mostly used to intercept small drug planes, since doing with jets would be expensive and pretty dangerous since you're gonna be flying near stall speed.

They started modernizing i few months ago.

>he doesn't like historic aircraft

Also i posted F-5's which are old enough for your autism.

Attached: file.png (800x533, 780K)

I like them but you are not showing the beauties our engineers are making
t. engineer

Old planes are a cute that’s why

>started modernizing

Nice, wish the Jews in India did the same

There, B-250 that the arabs stole from a small company. Go figure.

It was actually supposed to happen years ago, they did a "halfway" modernizing and just now they're updating the rest.

Attached: file.png (2200x1080, 2.52M)

Yes, saw them IRL a couple of times.

Attached: file.png (880x550, 383K)

Common in socialist countries I guess, they hire people as low iq as possible. Shits retarded

Does Hue have submarines?

Cute!!
>tfw old and slow boomers don’t wanna build a space station for your cunt

I hope these old fucks die so we get to do some cool stuff in space.

Attached: 42FD3173-CF79-43AB-B6FB-6BDC79017F9C.jpg (640x480, 89K)

Socialism is not the problem, the socialist guys started modernizing and made our first submarine but the right chimped out after losing the elections 4 times and fucked our economy

It was mostly money, since the govt at the time didn't cared about defense since "the military is rayciss".

Yes, one was launched last week.

Attached: file.png (1205x228, 48K)

It's not worth the money anyone, it's much easier sending robots than people, we don't see Humans traveling space sooner, maybe when we're at our 80's.

yikes

Attached: file.png (1850x930, 925K)

It was more because muh tradition than anything.. the insignia was kept to respect all the Indian soldiers who died in ww1 and ww2 and now replacing it would be a bitch

I love the naval insignia though

Hello my ally

Attached: Saab_Gripen_NG.png (1280x743, 1.44M)

Tbf our Navy uses the boring circle between circles, although after modernizing the Skyhawks they're using grey instead of Yellow and Green in the helicopters.
Idk why really.

Attached: file.png (1280x853, 1.52M)

overall our aiforce is pretty much shit

Attached: Argentina_Air_Force_Lockheed_Martin_A-4AR_Fightinghawk_Lofting-2.jpg (1280x849, 389K)

>military is raycis

Yeah same the boomers in our govt. we’re too dim witted and “peaceful”..didn’t modernize the military in the 80s and 90s when they should have and didn’t invest enough money in space.

Meanwhile even 80 year old trump knows space and technology is important for national security

Based and redpilled

Attached: gripen.jpg (882x454, 59K)

Space has lots of resources that can be brought back to earth and sold for trillions.. space is the next frontier and hopefully the retarded Indian boomers will invest in launch vehicles and robots to successfully extract resources and possibly build a small base if needed.

Robots are certainly a better option but eventually people will have to leave this shithole of a planet and resettle somewhere else.

War and disease are disappearing, medicine is getting better which means nature can’t eradicate the weak and the undesirable which means the population will explode again and a lot of useless consumers will be kept alive depleting our resources sooner.

The sooner will settle on other planets, the better

Defense was just ignored really, each year they had cuts in their spendings, i'm actually surprised that they managed to keep some of their programs alive, although many others were just cancelled or put on hold, like the AWACS/ELINT planes.

The thing is that as soon as that material enters our atmosphere, the value drops.

Old Russian tupolev, in awe at the size of this beary cunt

Is it a transport aircraft? Looks sweet

Cute

>grey instead of yellow

It’s for camouflage.. grey is an excellent color for hiding among the clouds

Even the Indian airforce bought some apache recently and painted it an ugly grey

Attached: 623647C6-BC39-49EA-885F-14F2DA4A4932.jpg (1500x1001, 420K)

guns always trigger americans

True it’d be useless as soon as it lands on earth.. right now we are at weird phase where we are neither in the dark ages nor in the proper future and the social justice bullshit is dragging us back and burning a lot of money on bullshit programs that could’ve been invested in space and resettlement
