Resume help

If I dropped out of my master's is it a good idea to write it in my resume?
The problem is that googling my name any future employer will easily find out I was enrolled (it's a first page result).
So, should I write it in and specify that I dropped out? Or should I omit the little detail about me dropping out and hope they never ask any info about it?

write your damn thesis shitstain

Wha...? No way. I'm not going back to school. It's too damn boring.

What were you studying?
How long were you in school?
What was the real reason you left?
What kind of job are you applying for?

>writing anything in your resume
>thinking they contact or look deeply

lol retard, just go work at McDonald at put your savings in dank index funds

probably gender studies

One of the things I'm grateful to my father is when I said that I won't finish my thesis, he said that it isn't an option.

I finished it with great pain.

>What were you studying?
Mathematics. (But I'm planning to look for a programming job.)
>How long were you in school?
For my master's, I only finished one year, then quit during the 2nd.
>What was the real reason you left?
Part of it was boredom with the curriculum, feeling that I'm wasting my time. Initially I was aiming for a PhD also but I kinda hit an existential crisis mid year, thinking that it's not what I really want to do etc.
>What kind of job are you applying for?
I'm going to apply for whatever internships I can hit or a junior programmer position, hoping to move on from there as I gain experience.

>work at McDonalds
LMAO, I'd rather shove my head in a vat of boiling oil.

Did you take any programming courses at uni, maybe even a minor? Do you have any certificates or work experience doing programming?

Sounds like you can just be honest. Say that you at 1 year of math masters but realized you wanted to get out of school and do programming instead.

What was your GPA when you left?

>Did you take any programming courses at uni,
As an undergrad only. The graduate curriculum was pure maths in its entirety.
> Do you have any certificates or work experience doing programming?
My diploma. No professional work experience as a programer.
>What was your GPA when you left?
On the exams I took my grade was in the upper 20% of the class. (I'm from Europe.)

I didn't go to all my exams though. Will that make me come across as a lazy/unreliable employee?

Beats me, I don't know how they do things in Europe. It's pretty easy to get a job here in programming because we don't have anything complicated like employment contracts.

What do you want to work as, user ?
And what is your gender ? That might be important, since you want to work as programmer I guess ?
Also, can you specify in which region you live in Europe ? Like, northern, central, eastern, baguette.

>we don't have anything complicated like employment contracts.
...how does that work?

well, where I live, everyone gets an email address from the state, and your tax / insurance/ whatever stuff gets sent there instead of in the mail. So you receive the contract there and you need to fill some things up and send it.
Im guessing op lives in a similar country

>What do you want to work as, user ?
Right now I'm fine with most anything since I don't have any professional experience.
>And what is your gender ?
Male (male).
>which region
Central Europe.

Unless you belong to a union, you have a right to quit working at any time. Your employer can also fire you at any time for any reason (or no reason at all). There are some exceptions like you can't fire people for their race, gender, old age, etc..

I was recommended to put this in the "other" section at the bottom of the page as "finished x semesters of ....". Supposedly even through you didn't finish it still makes you look better than those who didn't get into the collage. Can't say I see any results thou...

Ok well, most low-level jobs won't care about your degree, or lack of one.
However, it is good to show honesty.

I would write in my cv that I attended x university, and also what degree I got.
If you dropped out of masters you must have had a reason, but you don't have to write that shit on the CV, just what you passed. And if the employer does ask you why you dropped out, you can be honest (felt unfulfilling, was bored, thought it would be useless, whatever)

nigger just one year in a masters program can cost you $5 to $10k in just tuition. stop being a bitch and finish what you started

He's not a muri-tard

College is "free" here.
> stop being a bitch and finish what you started
I'm not being a bitch.

Thanks for the tips.

You're welcome. See if you have relatives that know people. Even if you're not very active with them, they usually still help.
I'd help a cousin I never talked to get a job, lol.

Did you make it in crypto?
t. European, almost made it, dropped out of masters, kinda same situation

>Did you make it in crypto?
Enough to get by for a couple years. Never took it too seriously tho, just as something on the side. (By the way, if Jow Forums sends this to the tax collection services here: everything I said is a lie, this thread is 100% shitposting.)

Okay, I actually took it very seriously (one reason why I dropped out)
yeah I really fucked up...

Never mention it unless asked.
Keep trying to get a job anyways, ain't nobody in the real world give a flying fuck about a meme paper so long as your a productive human being capable of doing what your paid to do.
