I would have to say I prefer Alien because it was the film that began the original concept. Alien was suspenseful while Aliens was more action-packed, both as awesome as each other in their own ways.

It's really sad Ridley Scott ruined its own legacy and reputation lately with that piece of shit released a couple years ago.
