I dont even live in a big city but cant think of a single reason youd want to live 30+ minutes from a shop or in a crack town with no jobs

I've lived in a small town for most of my 21 years of life. Would not recommend.
The cosmopolitan lifestyle is much better for those who like not having to drive 20 kilometres each time you want to practice a hobby other than taking pointless strolls in shite-infested hills.

I couldn't care less about the situation in America, living in the countryside still sucks and I can't wait to live on my own in a city.

Living in a city is alright, i would just never live in a big one unless im rich and live downtown, otherwise would either spend shitloads for a tiny apartment downtown or drive in from outside in shitty traffic all the time. Luckily my field is only in certain places where they are not too big of a city so I can get a house in a year or two

genuinely doesn't matter for a shutin like me as all I need is a good internet connection and even my parents place out in the middle of nowhere has a 200 Mb/s connection (of course its better elsewhere but at least its stable). I guess more rural is better simply for the cheaper living

Suburban life is pretty comfy, I wish there were more rural areas around but I live near a state park so I can't complain too much
