And Dutch.
always weirded me out as a kid
paperi = paper, and as finnish is an aggluttonious language, paperoni sounds like an endearing way of saying my paper (better yet paperoiseni)
Georg Gearlos (Georg Gearloose)
Lille Hjælper (Little Helper)
OH NO NO
fuck him
i honestly have no idea why he is so popular
sometimes it felt like a joke when he was lucky at the very end of the story again
no like a loose gear
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>fuck him
>i honestly have no idea why he is so popular
>sometimes it felt like a joke when he was lucky at the very end of the story again
those stories where he wins are sort of a non-sexual cuckold fantasy or netorare
More or less. Gearlos would essentially mean Gearless (as in having no gears or whatever) but that's not really an expression in Danish so they just went with whatever sounded the closest over something that had a meaning.
>those stories where he wins are sort of a non-sexual cuckold fantasy or netorare
merimutts r dumb
fuck em
Petter Smart og lille hjelper aka Petter Smart and little helper
You mean Joakim von Anka?
Here he's strangely names Skrue McDuck, the only character to be almost identical to the original english name
doesnt he always win
what about this guy
nah there are some stories where DD wins
and even more where neither wins
yeah but i am sometimes amazed how the story can suddenly turn at the very end
Spökplumpen
I've always found it weird that Donald Duck kept his original name in Norwegian when he has a local name in the other Nordic languages.
>Spökplumpen
lol what. here it's "sorte slyngel"
pretty much means "black rascal"
mustakaapu
"black robe"
Fantomas I think.

Macchia Nera (black spot)
De Schim (The Shadow)
