I have no reason to hate or like them
they exist, not much more to say about them
they're only notable for having lots of opinions about things, like any spectator

I have some Irish blood, so it's a love/hate relationship
>I have some Irish blood, so it's a love/hate relationship
dios mio...
All Irish people I’ve met all seem to be secretly depressed while masking it with a happy sarcastic exterior
the only irishman I've ever met turned out to be gay, and he grew up without electricity
no, this is the only flag for ireland i recognize
Like I said, a love/hate relationship
How old was he?
Never heard of it.
It was in the news some time ago, can't recall now exactly why, but the name does stick out.
when was the last time you folks grew up without electricity?
Most of the country was electrified in 1948 if I recall. After that, it was just isolated outliers that didn't have electricity but even then, they would've been electrified by the 1970's. If that guy didn't have electricity then I'm assuming his parents just refused to pay electric bills or something weird or he's pretty old
This describes me and many of my peers.
Mfw.
Only lads from Leitrim
I have never interacted with an Irish in my life, but Kerrygold is good

proof that my family wasn't just larping
Cromwell did nothing wrong desu
My mother studied gaelic and it’s a cool language. I crib words from it for RPGs all the time since it just feels like fantasy, thank you based tolkien.
The people themselves seem cool but I really just know stereotypes and the odd few from my mother’s classes. They seem to range from down to earth to more belligerent englishmen so not bad.
no desu
No. They're ugly and drunk.
Ireland has been home to plenty of literary talent. Joyce, Beckett, Flann O'Brien, I could go on. Admire them for that if nothing else.
I spent two days in Cork and kissed the Blarney Stone and am maybe a quarter Irish so please listen to me!!
>kissing a stone that was previously tongued by over 9000 years of drunk farmers and tourists

Yep, spot on
It's a bit exaggerated. And varies throughout the country
cunt
our greatest ally :)
Because we have a relatively high number of redheads versus almost anywhere else. They're still a minority, just less so. Also if you spent a lot of time in urban areas chances are half the people you met weren't even Irish, something like 1/5th of the population are foreigners now.
love them
