holy shit does this actually happen?
we have completely mentally cucked the world

Unironically yes
And people think it makes them cool

It used to happen to me when I was in school and browsed Jow Forums all day

>don't want to mix english words but you forget the equivalent word in your language for it so you keep cutting the natural flow with long unnatural conversation fillers

Attached: 701.jpg (673x1024, 70K)

>projecting this much

I've been in the US for 5 years now and can barely speak my native language anymore. My mother is so ashamed speaking to me on the phone.

I stutter every now and then since I had a epileptic seizure a few years back

is my brain ok?

>someone actually made this meme
but yeah, mixing english with your native language is cringe as well

I really hate it when Mexicans do this.
I can tolerate it when the girls do it, but when ""men"" do it, it's annoying as fuck.

>mixing english with your native language is cringe as well
That explains why nordic people and the dutch love to do that

It's a sign of a poor vocabulary.

I don't stutter, but I do have an awkward pause so that I can collect my thoughts and work things out. Perhaps that's worse.

All the reading and learning I've done within the last decade has been in English so I can fire right away if I'm to explain shit in English, but if you forced me to explain shit in Bulgarian, I'd just sit and scratch my head for a while.
If you went and picked any random teenager chances are they'd have a richer Bulgarian vocab than I do, and I feel real shitty about that.

yep they wont heal

holy shit same

i do this nowadays and i feel like shit for doing it
i fucking hate english i dont want to speak it

literally me.

What is your native language. Didnt know you can forget it if its native

This is the bad part. Might have been cool 10 years ago in middle school when very few kids speak English so you feel elite but once you are 18-19 here and probably in most places of the world everyone can at least understand some basic English its nothing impressive.

That happens with everyone that speaks multiple languages.

>i've been a NEET whose most extensive contact with the world is through Jow Forums for so long that i started to forget hebrew words and expressions and now i find speaking english easier

This level of autism should't be allowed desu

Nah its only full autists like these who spend too much time on the Internet and consume lots and lots of media that isn't available in their language thus have no or few interactions in their own language

Does this still count if your language is very similar to english, i'd even go as far to say that dutch words are sometimes just plain harder to pronounce

You think that's autism?

I actually have a word file where I list all the words that I like but tend to forget so I can recall them when needed

*words and expressions

I also write down names of people because I tend to forget them

I suspect I have early onset dementia

Feels good knowing my ancestral language and English equally well.

kind of. it's much easier for me to express myself in english and usually my thoughts are in english, too

>its harder to pronounce my own language
So you have become so used to english that you find it easier to pronounce the english phonemes than the dutch phonemes? That is cringe

sexist
this and it's okay
english sounds cool :3

You speak Old English?
þats's calan!

>I'm fluent in more than four languages.

English makes a person's voice sound higher pitch.
I do not like sounding like a woman.

>we

Sometimes it's necessary desu
For example we don't have a word for cringe

>burger being proud he's the prime cuck himself

just say ''magyar'' then

I do it a bit, I make a conscious effort to try and avoid it but it occasionally happens.
But that's mainly because I'm a huge antisocial NEET who's main social interaction happens on Jow Forums.

And you don't really need one outside of Reddit to be fair.

hungry got dabbed on hard

>*lists danish, norwegian, sweedish and german*
>Yeah, I'm quite the multilinguist

*icelandic*
German language is quite different, even though it has lots of common with the rest.

:(

The more internet savvy zoomers use it irl nowdays

huh
i think the opposite

>And you don't really need one outside of Reddit to be fair.
you do
in spanish we have a kinda equivalent phrase, vergüenza ajena, and i've used it sometimes

>The more internet savvy zoomers use it irl nowdays
True, but why would you associate with them or engage them on their level? 99/100 times you can get away with just using whatever word your language has for "embarrassing". while retaining most of your dignity.

If it's part of your actual language and has been used long enough to where every person around uses it and knows what it means then sure.

I was taught german for 4 years (I purposefully didn't write learnt), and I can understand a bunch of danish words, the grammar could be very different, but they share a fair number of words

Bc I'm a zoomer myself

Then it's up to you to educate your fellow peers.

>If it's part of your actual language and has been used long enough to where every person around uses it
how are new words supposed to be introduced if you go by that rule?

que es el problem dude? todos hablamos like this

based flosser

Ges, hit is god. Thu sprecan eald englisch?

>tfw old guy at work uses words and phrases I don't understand

New words needs to be treated with caution and only fully accepted when they have shown to have a large utility and uniqueness, otherwise you get shitty meme words of the year like "manspreading" or shit like that into the dictionary, and that's not good for anyone. They have to earn their place by surviving years of rigorous ridicule.

It's surprisingly easy to forget your main language if you stop using it.

I've noticed girls fo it much more often than men. I hate it.

>we

Yes we Anglos did it.
Both the USA and Britain contributed to it

yes in fact you have
fuck you *Nglo

Polish girls belong to Anglo bvlls

Every day I want to stab the throats of zoomers for this reason. Giving internet access to the plebs was a mistake

I think in English, it's easy to swap languages if you speak over 5 of them.

more usa than uk by a large margin

In fact, when i speak my native lenguage usually i mix 3 different lenguages lol

post a screenshot please

Based thread. Anglo pride worldwide.

this desu

>we

>tfw you look like a chad but stutter in your native and only language like a virgin

>young people like to use "chill" ex: "lets go chill", " That's so chill"
cringe ťbh

USA nowadays, but Britain played a large role in getting is started with the British Empire and all

Not really. Where I live we were under British domination for 250 years yet no one bothered learning it before WW2. No one in Québec that is over 60 years old knows English and maybe a few 50 years old know. It only started after WW2 with USA dominating the media and the world economy.

>mfw I've been forgetting more and more standard Slovene words since getting out of high school

Attached: 1451044753051.jpg (102x125, 4K)

This. And I translate English expressions in my speaking and it sounds weird

>make fun of anglos for being monolingual
>can't even remember how to speak your own native language
How embarrassing

oh, i see now

ja, jij gvd kankerangelfiel
waarom zou het niet meetellen??
hoe dom en naïef kan je zijn??
als jou keel makkelijker engelse klanken kan uitspreken dan vlaamse ben je niet vlaams voor mij

Sorry to hear that, user. At least you have healthcare.
