You fucking blockchain nerds. Shitoshi wrote a white paper for p2p currency. Notice how these garbage dApp platforms fail at their job of scaling? At MOST they be currency and maybe smart contracts. Why do people now think we can host the "future internet" on this shit? Consider that the only way to make a case for new projects in the crypto sphere was to tack on new "Features". Never mind the fact that these features couldn't scale on blockchain tech and required basically all new code thus leaving the security of the original white paper.

So lets Recap what Big Daddy here is all about.
========================================
>Supply of 177 billion. Don't be scared. This allows for a stable price as well as micro-transactions that use meaningful values like 1 or 12 not 0.0000512354
>Founders began principle work over a decade ago pre-bitcoin.
>A decentralized internet hosted by the users where 99% of the profit goes to the users (Agents)
>Capable of doing what 95% of the crypto space is trying to do, but better.
>Actually decentralized. The more people that use it the more decentralized it becomes, much like BitTorrent
>Already a working alpha and a network that will launch soon.
>Already a working product that will help the network decentralize and earn you Holo fuel.
>Releasing a program soon that runs on your desktop to allow your PC to be a HoloPort when you're not using it.
>You will earn HoloFuel for the hosting your machine does.
>The current Holochain tokens are placeholders for a coming HoloFuel that you will exchange for once their network is open to the public.
>HoloFuel will be used to pay for the web hosting in the Holo ecosystem that allow the dApps to have web on-ramps for those who expect a website.
>99% of the hosting profits go back to the Agents who host on the network, and 1% goes to the Holo Back-end Support Team.

fuck you and your boomer shitcoin

well its not a coin brainlet. It's a framework for decentralized applications. hurrr

Smelliest feet, coziest hold.

I need to get to at least 5 million.

Check these quads.

Got into ETH @ $2. Sold around $1050. Not the top but close. Feeling same vibes with Holo. Going to ride this puppy to $8-10 billion.

How long you think? Apparently they were being very cagey with exchange listings to avoid running afoul of the SEC shit.

If this thing even does 10x my whole life will be changed forever.

10x will be a walk in the park for HOT if the network launches without a problem. In all honesty we could 10x well before then.

This changes everything in the crypto sphere really shuts down the idea of a blockchain based platform actually being a place to host decentralized applications or hold decentralized data en mass.

Hypothetically, how high could this go in a 30k-40k BTC market?

The token value will be based on the hosting value on the Holo Network. So when you build an App to run on Holo, you will decide how much people who host it get paid. So lets assume you earn 1000 Holo in a week for hosting a small app on the network. At 1 cent per token, you would expect to earn about 10 dollars hosting that application out to the community. But maybe you host 5 apps on your HoloPort, so in total you might earn 30-50 bucks a week hosting. As demand rises, the value of the token itself may rise to meet the demand for computational power provided by the network.

Once their network launches it will be independent from BTC and ETH and no longer tied to these dinosaur cryptos. People will start launching Applications on the network a short while after it goes live (Think about the devs who want to be first to market their app on Holo).

So like everything in this sphere, it will still come down to adoption on weather or not it goes from 1 cent to 1 dollar. But 1 cent should be no problem.

>How long you think? Apparently they were being very cagey with exchange listings to avoid running afoul of the SEC shit.
That's what I thought too but in the telegram they confirmed they are pursuing listings and in talks with eschanges, just not US exchanges right now.

This sounds like it could be the end all of blockchain... but the question is u can’t control what people do with it. . What if they host cp and u can’t stop it because it’s decentralized? And the cp expands and now there’s thousands or millions with CP. what do we do then?
Playing devils advocate

It's not the end of blockchain. What I have been saying is that you have two spaces to consider.

Blockchain which is great for bulletproof currency and contracts.... And then you have HoloChain which is for just about everything else. This means that no matter what, blockchain isn't going anywhere. But what is going somewhere is these garbage "platforms" that are bloated shitpiles that cannot scale or run applications, much less top end distributed processing and hosting.

BlockChain = Good for Secure Decentralized P2P Currency and Contracts.

HoloChain = Good for Secure Decentralized P2P Applications, Distributed Web Hosting and File Storage. Truly peer to peer where bad actors are weeded out using the gossip protocol and no middle men get in the way.

Where the fuck am i? And where did this insightful conversation come from?!

14mil enough you guys think?

I am one of the few people who spent 30+ hours attempting to understand what the fuck Holo is. I found out like many others here that we are looking at the future of decentralized p2p apps/computing/storage. I seem to be the only person who can string together coherent sentences and defend this project. Everyone else is very ooga booga about it.

And holy shit 14 mil you Beast. Congrats.

ive been following holo from literally the beginning, and was put off when i couldnt buy into the ico since im a usa. Where do i buy? i want to buy asap, dont really care about the other cryptos im in anymore so i might as well. Is it good timing to change my bch and btc to holo?

this is a common misconception about CP and other shady shit in relation to decentralized hosting platforms.
They are building a protocol and the last thing you'd want is censorship at the protocol level. It's like the guy who invented TCP/IP tried to add some shit that filters certain content at the protocol level. It would be completely retarded and insane and the internet that we know today wouldn't even exist if that happened or it would be based on another protocol.

Could we have dapps that will be filled with CP, arms dealing and other shit? Most likely yes, but it be delegated to the "dark web" of the holo platform. It's not like you as an user will use Holo and immediately get redirected to some CP website. Even as a host I think you will have options to filter some shit.

This topic is useless because it follows the same logic as: "the internet can be used for CP, ban the entire internet".

How do I buy it?

HOLO gives me the same vibes as ZIL, ZIL will reach 2-3 $ and HOT probably 5-10 cents after their mainnets

imagine if we get on a high volume exchange and normies will see the low price of it.They have no notion of supply.I mean look at at what happened to Bytecoin

what are you retarded

IDEX + MetaMask
If you are curious about either there are easy youtube videos to help.

No, but I'm close.

I'll take a look at it, seems like there's at least something here since you holo posters didn't fuck right off. Or are you just looking for liquidity to dump your ICO bags? lol

Attached: Scoutingforbullmarkets.jpg (528x352, 178K)

yeah faggot. I spent 6 days straight and multiple hours each day researching to buy this at ICO just so I can dump it on you at 5x when I could have done it at 10x.
I am holding this until 0.10-0.20$ range. This is probably the last x1000 in crypto and I'm not missing this train for peanuts.

Attached: 1506358824823.jpg (183x200, 18K)

ironic that bitcoin is the worst scaling of any of them

I too have at least 50+ hours into Holo research. There's so much data and interviews that you can really capture so much more than just reading a few articles.

youtube.com/watch?v=0rvP1qUjqgM
If you're bored, here's Art Brock being interviewed about Septr and HoloChain Tech. You need only listen to this man speak for 20-30 minutes to understand he knows what hes talking about.

Attached: asdf13324.jpg (491x550, 86K)

that alpha as fuck lady from Holo mentioned that the biggest problem for them is downplaying how huge this project is for fear that people will not believe them or associating them with scam shitcoins that overpromise

Attached: 1428254927303.png (641x401, 213K)

Does Holo have its own blockchain or is it just an ERC20 token. If it's just ERC20 then it can only do max of 15 TPS (assuming there are no cat games running on ETH to slow the dinosaur down).

Sky is similar market cap, but doing the same and more while being years ahead. When this surpasses sky while being an erc 20 token, it's fair to say it's overpriced.

Stop shilling your unrelated VPN shitcoin

I'm not wrong though. Currently the price of HOT is priced in at best and can only rise more thanks to hype.

Yall have expeeience with Hotbit? Is it ok to use?

Idex is a lot better in my opinion.

a great coin sirs, true the best for future.
i hope to buy 10.000 coins, this is great soon sir

Nobody has posted the list yet.

Checked af but I already knew this

Go shit somewhere else. We are trying to have a decent thread here.

own holochain. actually 1 million times faster than eth. infinitely scalable

Holochain will unironically become one of the biggest projects in crypto.
It's the same innovation that we saw with Ethereum and Bitcoins beginning.

You want to 'make it'?
Don't invest in a 1000 shitcoins that do exactly the same. Bet on the guy who wants to build something new.

holo is a feminist shitcoin with a literal cultural advisor on their team. buy SKY you tard, we've been in the game for longer and Obelisk renders all holo projects obsolete

ikr, fucking trainwreck boomer shitcoin kek
