Why are so many people triggered by these sorts of images?

These used to make me feel disgusting and got creeped out every time i saw one, it's not as bad but it's still there

It's because very many people see them as extremely disgusting for a variety of reasons
That was why I got triggered atleast.
I couldn't stop myself from imagining that the holes were on my skin instead of just in an image on a screen.

I think I have them in my family vaction home in Italy

trypophobia; I think there is a theory that animals have patterns like this to show that they are poisonous and some humans still carry that fear with them (haven't evolved properly) so the pics freak them out

Yeah I forgot to mention this, good call.
It makes people itch like crazy. Scratching and trying to get the holes from the skin away even though they're not there.
