Also spaghetti westerns and memetic "Il bisbetico domato".
That's mostly everything I can say about italian cinematography.

A WILD SAM PECKINPAH APPEARS
italian movies suck i only respect lino banfi films
youtube.com
Watch & learn, outsiders: in this scene, "il maestro" Lino Banfi denounces the oppression of the Third Industrial Revolution in an antiquated market and economy like the italian one, where the workers where easily stressed out from learning the use of brand new technology one could have ever dreamt about.
The humor in this scene is bittersweet: Baudaffi Pasquale, the main character, is a low-class worker that tries to apply to a new Tech Industry. He knows little to nothing about computers and electronic stuff, and the spectator witnesses his slow downfall into madness while trying to deal with the unknown machinery.
i don't think so
I love Italian horror and sci fi.
I saw Supiria last week it was really great
I’m curious tho, why were Italians so fascinated with western films?
I am grateful for ennio morricone tho
it's probably just because Leone dropped some serious kino out of nowhere and others tried to imitate him with various degrees of success
>Sam "being white sucks" Peckinpah
Europe in general likes it I guess
>The movie (Once Upon a Time in the West) was a massive hit in France,[6] and was easily the most successful film released there in 1969 with 14.8 million admissions, ranking 7th of all time.[34][35] It sparked a brief fashion trend for duster coats which took such proportions that Parisian department stores such as Au Printemps had to affix signs on escalators warning patrons to keep their "maxis," as they were called, clear from the edges of moving steps to prevent jamming.
No
>stars American actors
>if a movie stars an actor from country x then it's from country x
ah yes
Are you taking normal movies or vintage italian porn?
BOTH
1st - they were popular and they were the american kind of fun.
2nd - they could be filmed with a low budget somewhere in Italy or Spain.
3rd - since large share of italian moviemakers were leftists, they used the theme of Mexican Revolution to push their views on life and politics.
I bet you never watched Fascisti su Marte, masterpiece and Jow Forums related
foreigners can't really understand it
