In the Netherlands insulting people or groups of people is illegal, if they press charges.

And there was one guy who kept sending educational material about the holocaust not happening to a schools, including a Jewish school. And a judge said that was pretty insulting and convicted the guy.

But that doesn't mean holocaust denial per se is illegal or that we have a law against it.

In the UK, you will still be jailed for it. There are a number of possible charges:
- incitement to racial hatred (usually used to jail deniers, it carries a sentance of 7 years)
- breach of the peace
- unlawful communications (if it was online, especially if an illegal word was used. Yes, we have illegal words)
- visiting an extremist website (if you were to do this for research into denying this non-made up event of electric chairs that fit 100,000 Jews)

Probably also worth pointing out, the racial hatred law has been used to lock up people delivering leaflets for the right-wing parties and it has also been used to lock up some National Front protesters who were raising awareness of Shomrim and asking why Jews should have a parallel policing service.
