How is everyone doing?
Popular brokers for stock trading:
Robinhood
>commission free and no minimum to open
robinhood.com
> How is it free?
Robinhood earns revenue by collecting interest on cash/securities and fees from their Robinhood Gold service
> It's been X days, why isn't my account verified yet?
Not being approved in 3 days seems to be the new norm. Nevertheless, call/email their support if you've been waiting more than that.
> When is it coming to my country?
The only "plans" are on an Australian and Chinese beta. Neither of which has gained much traction.
Interactive Brokers
>$1 commission per 100 shares. $10k minimum to open, $3k if 25 or under. Lowest margin interest. Free API access

TD Ameritade

It's time for the Lunchtime Checkup!
What're you eating how're you doing?
I'm having a sirloin sandwich with bacon aioli, gruyere cheese, fried onions, and some steamed veggies. I'm up a shitload today due to SLV and it feels GOOD. Got a ton of plans for the weekend and I can't wait to start them!
I feel pretty good
Protein bar and shower water from the spout, I'm fucking late.
What this user said I wish I had a fucking time machine. I guess only our meme president gets one.
ham and cheese sandwich on jew bread
all my gains for the past weekend got wiped out in 3 hours but I'm still up $5
>he always posts during my morning vomit routine
My nigga my nigga
Going to the gym instead again, part of the routine MWF for lunch between work. I want my portfolio to be huge and my gains as well.
Ended up the day at +4%, coming back from work by train, going to a concert.
I am infuriated that Lunchbro wastes a good lunch picture in such a low quality thread
Piece of shit Semis.
Getting my usual Friday treat. Wish I was happy like you lunchbro.
Also fuck you OP.
Looks good though Lunch user.
>he didn't put all on STMicro+Soitec
not gonna make it
Gold just crashed
GET FUCKED COMMIES
3rd red day in a row for me.

I should have made my own thread with lunch as the pic :^)
Elon Musk deserves the thread OP for what he did to shorts.
all the gin I drink doesnt start hurting my stomach until 9am
Euro markets are going to be bullish until Q2-Q3 2019 given the ECB shitpost yesterday
>mfw green
Baffled as to why. I'd even be up 30 dollars if MU wasn't shitting the bed so bad.
MOAR QE
Fellow MU owner! What is your opinion on it? I bought it at $43 but I'm holding for $75. You think it will make it this year?
Made a thread but might as well ask this here since I fear this board has become overrun with crypto kiddies.
What's the "best" or rather most established/used way to calculate the fragility or rather volatility (with symmetric downsides/upsides ofc) of a given security?
Also is there an aggregate site that already did that and has them available in a rank-order?
gin is one of the only liquors i can stomach
youre not drinkin that cheap paint thinner garbage, are you?
The QE may be ended in december 2018 (it's not even sure), but low rates are here to stay until at least Q3 2019
lol Yahoo going full Shut Up and buy it Nya
yea thats why im staying out of the short yuro financials. i had it all ready to go, but the news didnt line up, so i backed down
Negative, I don't think it'll make 75. The DRAM companies are about to get cucked by the Chinese government, since Trump is the only leader in the world willing to call the fuckers out on their bullshit.
I expect we'll see a rally after earnings, but I don't see much long-term value in the company.
bollinger band width
LCI looking for a move soon.
holy fug
seconding this you should be able to set up a screener based on that

Bottom shelf Crowne russ or Glenshire gins
Delicious
so you're supposed to just buy options and flip them for a profit, right? Nothing more to it than that, excluding the greeks?
Crunchy Peanut Butter Cliff Bar, I would snap a picture but that little thing is long gone.
Yea, usually people don't exercise options, they just sell them.
No, you have other options
I'll be happy if it goes back to $63, this motherfucking stock.
I got a bottle of regular Bombay, I only drink it when it's hot out
Good flavor
Might buy a couple, still holding GBR though so I might not have the capital quick enough.
that clears a shitload of stuff up for me, don't know why everything online makes it so difficult
I like you
>he doesnt drink and smoke 24/7 365
never gonna make it
Oh well, time to watch my gains melt away
>15,666.18
ayy that's more than I make in a year
There will be plenty of that this weekend, going to crack a few cold ones with the boys
Is this the poor Atlanta boi?
Stay poor
green by end of lunch wish me luck guys
TRADE WAR
TRADE WAR
Thanks lunch user, as always you are much appreciated.
I have $290, what stocks should I buy during the dip
If CAT and BA drop more monday Im buying
The fundamentals behind option trading aren't complicated. It's making a profit on them that's the hard part. Keep in mind, you WILL pay a fee regardless of what you do with the option, so you always have to be able to make more than the fee or it's a loss. That's where people usually lose money, actually, as the fee can bite hard if you have a lot of bad options.
Realistically, though, options aren't designed for speculation. You want futures for that.
AMAT a shit.
> options not enabled on my account
> wouldve tripled my money if I could buy OTM T calls today
REEEEEEEEEEEE
>SVRA
Buy this in prep for June 20.
Thanks user, I enjoy keeping up with this thread
I can't shake the feeling that there will be a big dip in the market later this year. Am I being paranoid?
JP Morgan
Divs next month
NKTR
Man I should have held DIS for 2 more days, but I already had a 9% gain...
Could it be another September 2015?
Ebic
Its going to crash but in the upwards direction
>crown russe
that shit reminds of bad times too much. i cant drink it anymore
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>Am I being paranoid?
sure, but a little paranoia never hurts in this game. there IS someone out to get ya in this game. ALWAYS
Canadian Goose just went up 26% today, should I sell or hold?
Help me understand one more thing.
How is it possible for me to buy a put without owning 100 shares of a stock?
Love the aromatic Juniper taste
Because you can't exercise them on Robinhood anyway.
What, what makes you think I live in Atlanta?
heading to rite aid
better be a green day when I get back
You can buy the shares later. For example, if you buy a $3 put and the price plunges to $1, you could buy 100 shares and exercise your put for $200 profit.
You're just buying a contract for the right to buy/sell 100 shares of the underlying.
Every day is a green day for someone, especially if they're jewish.
long options holders have the RIGHT to exercise.
short contract holders have the OBLIGATION to put forward the shares if its in the money
when you exercise a long call, youre forcing the call writer (the guy whos short) to sell 100 of the shares at strike. hence why short contracts rquire margins

HIGH IQ
so, opinion on AVLR?
also, any stocks to hold for long time?
well shit, I guess it doesn't matter anymore because I just accidentally unintentionally bought the put anyway because I dropped my phone and caught it in mid air, swiping up in the process
Overvalued IPO. If you have the IPO, congrats you made a huge profit. If you don't, do not buy.
The info for IB is incorrect. The commission is $1 for the first 200 shares and $0.005/share thereafter.
won't make it into another IQ?
