Are on ear headphones uncomfortable? I've never owned any but they seem like they would be.

Been hearing good things about these for years but they're about 2x as much as I'm really happy to pay these days. I (OP) had a a couple of pairs of headphones around the same price as those before I switched to my current Superlux ones which cost me only ~£25 by comparison, and I honestly couldn't say that I missed the more expensive ones.

Sadly my Superlux are on life support via tape right now because the part where the cable connects to the cup has gotten damaged and the sound keeps cutting out if the cable isn't kept in a very specific position. I'm leaning towards just buying another pair of them right now though rather than switching to something else since they're cheap and I'm happy with them.

Which ones do you have? I don't really have any comfort issues with mine. One of the pads used to hurt my ear but after rotating it slightly the problem went away and I can now wear them for long periods of time without any problem.

Well I got my M40x on sale for around £50 and I was still a bit "should I?" when I got them.
But when I got home, plugged them in and went through my music library it was like my ears got born again. Not even joking, never had headphones that sound this good before.

Expensive as fuck.

Best for the money desu

>Are on ear headphones uncomfortable?
no, it's very fine
I listen to music the whole time and would have a nice headphone if I cared but this one does the job desu, also I use speakers too(I have a 4 way amplifier) so the headphones are just a plus
If I was invest in something I would buy better speakers

It's the best gaymen headset but it's still overpriced if you just account for the headphones

I was actually thinking of buying some of those to replace my half-dead 681s since they're not too much more expensive and from what I've read the 668B seem to be generally regarded as better.

I remember having the same sort of feeling when I finally switched from just using stock earbuds and cheap speakers to buying my first pair of over-ear headphones. They were just some inexpensive Sony ones I saw in a shop and bought on a whim, but once I realised how good a proper pair of headphones sounded I was converted forever.

Philips Fidelio X2. Love them very much.

I use it for both. Survived 40,000 miles of travel and still kicking.

Bought these for $50. 100% recommended.
I want to buy these, mainly to see the open-closed sound difference.
