What do you think about German?

What do you think about German?
Do you like how it sounds?
Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?

People here mainly associate it with funny sounding languages.

sounds disgusting, no one cares about german, and everyone hates germany here, leave us alone

>What do you think about German?

bad things
>Do you like how it sounds?

bad
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?

WWI, autism, EU oppression

This, based Luigi

Used to learn it a bit in middle school, but didn't care back then, and focused on English instead.

>Do you like how it sounds?
Yos, but angry Germans sound funny.

Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
>80s-90s music

Better than fr*nch, that's for certain
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?

>fields where German is the dominant language
On what basis are these decided? I'm not sure many people would consider German the global language of business for example.

I fucking hate germany and the german people. i like the french more

>What do you think about German?
Standard german is disgusting

>Do you like how it sounds?
There is no "german", there's multiple you idiot and i'd rather listen to any kind of dialect or accent than having to suffer through another one of you cunts speaking standard german

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Needy, arrogant and annoying people mostly

I think it's a pretty complicated language compared to Spanish or English.
I like how it sounds, remind me of a Gothic castle.
Here it's not a very popular second language despite how useful it is, probably because we're too lazy to pick it up when you can have Spanish or Italian instead, who are much closer to French.

Oma and Opa

>What do you think about German?

I like it

>Do you like how it sounds?

Yes

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?

The language or the people? I associate germany with:
>Constant wars in Europe
>National Socialism
>Great Germanic work ethic/Highly functional and developed society
>Merkel and migrant Crisis
>The E.U
>Folkore euro traditions
>Germanic/Barbarian warriors

Fuck off retard, the more we shill German after Brexit, the sooner it will be the standard language in Europe

can you stop making these threads

Who the fuck cares about that? Fuck off with your retarded "Besatzersprech" meme. English is way too integrated already anyways
Go and Heil to Hitler somewhere else

I'd say German is highly underrated

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Hitler.

German being the standard language in the EU would have a tremendously positive effect for all native speakers you bumbling retard.

I used to think the language sounds angry but now it's just as normal as others imo.
Other than WWII no.

it really is?

echte deutsche schreiben hier

I'm an engineering student so I generally associate germany with efficiency. Can't say that when it comes to the language itself, though.

>99141054
>rumhittlern mit den gummihälsen
ja, nö.

>I generally associate germany with efficiency
German efficiency sucks as of lately, their trains are notoriously late, their internet speed is a joke, and their big building projects are all over time and over cost. Albeit they are the largest Germanic country, they are also the least efficient.

Halt's Maul du kleine LARP-Schwuchtel

Oh really? That's interesting.

>What do you think about German?
not a fan.
>Do you like how it sounds?
Not much.
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Merkel
EU
Rammstein
Appliances

>What do you think about German?
I like it. I managed to be the only spaniard I know who was more or less fluent in it in like 1.5 years I lived there. Declension and genders were a pain in the ass though.
>Do you like how it sounds?
Yes. I don't know why so many people say it sounds like barbarians or someone angry. It sounds good, specially on shy girls.
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
The friends I made when I was there I guess. Potsdam and Berlin. People who always try their best to make everything right, even if that does not mean they are the most efficient.

>Berlin

Biggest shithole in Germany, has negative productivity.

>Biggest shithole in Germany
S A C H S E N

It has a really distinct sound like Russian or french where it doesnt sound like a natural way people would speak
I wouldn't call it ugly but it just sounds functional. Even though it isnt accually because of so much grammar and case autism and even with that taking twice as long to say the equivalent in english.

>europIan union member countries
Das soll man doch mal korrigieren. Naja, juckt keinem.

>What do you think about German?
it sounds angry
>Do you like how it sounds?
not really
sounds a bit ugly
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
militarism, violence

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?

scat porn

>What do you think about German?
Kind of hard to learn, but useful.

>Do you like how it sounds?
Not much. I'm not really fond of those throat R sounds (as the "x" in Russian or the arabic "HA"). But I don't think it's ugly either.

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Job opportunities. Many important companies come from Germany.
Also, badass mathematicians.

>What do you think about Germany?
Best country in Europe. Should be given more power, so we wouldn’t have slave-mutts and Sout***n Europeans destroying this continent.

>Do you like how it sounds?
Yeah. Much better than this gay af language.

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Friendly, well-educated people. Productivity.

Alright, Hans, time to turn off the proxy.

Everything sounds good on shy girls.

Painu sinä puolineekeri, banaanivaltiodiktaattorin anaalirauhasen lutkuttaja perseeseen.

You know that I don't know Finnish to judge if you translated it on Google Translator or not, right?
But I respect your opinion either way.

Spoken by autistic emotionless machine people, and Austrians.
No
Bad things

>In the end Germans and Austrians are the same
Discuss

i like German
I'm just not very good at the grammar

You think google manages stuff like ”banaanivaltiodiktaattorin anaalirauhasen lutkuttaja”?

>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
WWI of course.

There he is. There he goes again. Look, everyone! He posted it once again! Isn't he just the funniest guy around?! Oh my God. I can almost see your pathetic overweight frame glowing in the dark, lit by your computer screen which is the only source of light in your room, giggling like a girl as you once again type your little "Austria is german" quip. I imagine you little shit laughing so hard as you click it that you drop your Doritos on the floor, but it's okay, your mother will clean it up in the morning. Oh that's right. Did I fail to mention? You live with your mother. You are a fat fucking fuckup, she's probably so sick of you already. So sick of having to do everything for you all goddamn day, every day, for a grown man who spends all his time on reddit posting about a country. Just imagine this. She had you, and then she thought you were gonna be a scientist or an astronaut or something grand, and then you became a "Austria is german" poster. A pathetic unfunny "Austria is german" poster. She probably cries herself to sleep everyday thinking about how bad it is and how she wishes she could just disappear. She can't even try to talk with you because everything you say is "AUSTRIA ISN'T REAL AUSTRIA IS JUST SOUTHERN GERMANY LMAO". You've become a parody of your own self. And that's all you are. A sad little man laughing in the dark by himself as he prepares to indulge in the same old dance that he's done a million times now. And that's all you'll ever be.

I've got a 1925 Dania model 35 air rifle I restored, they made some nice air rifles back then.

Italienisch?

tschingglarisch*

I respect germany, I wish it will be able to eventually overcome the existential dread it has fallen into and become a great nation again.

Basierter Burger spricht die Wahrheit aus

Sounds like shit. Hopefully it's replaced by arabic soon

Vielen Dank. Mein Deutsch ist jedoch nicht das beste

false, there is no official recognition of German speaking minority in Slovenia

our commies managed to persuade them go away after WW2 for good

>2nd most scientific language
I think it's English, Latin, and Greek

This.

>Needy, arrogant and annoying people mostly
I am not a German, but I work with them and if there is anything worst it is Austrians had Hipster the the list and you get one. To be honest I only deal with Tirol wannabes. Hope the rest is not the same.

E quem disse que você não pode escrever as palavras todas juntas de modo que o Google traduza-as separadamente e pareça que você é o falante mais foda da língua finlandesa?

>>Great Germanic work ethic/Highly functional and developed society
This meme needs to die. Come work with Germans and you will see the truth.

Could you try and rephrase your sentence? I'm not sure i understand what you're saying

>What do you think about German?
I like it. I managed to be the only spaniard I know who was more or less fluent in it in like 1.5 years I lived there. Declension and genders were a pain in the ass though.

Warums lädst du keine posts in den /lang/ faden hoch? Wir brauchen mehr Dolmetscher du hochstapler

>watch a video
>some german guy starts speaking about something
>he almost has an effeminate tone the way his speaks
>turn off my computer since I have to sleep early
>mfw I had a dream about some German twink dressed in a sailor costume hugging and cuddling me in bed while her sister suffocates me with her chest

I don't have any bad associations with it and its accents but I think it's unpleasant. Everyone sounds more androgynous in it, it makes women sound mannish and men sound effeminate.

g*rm*ns are not human
hence why they're called GERM mans

I don't like how it sounds. But I think it's an efficient way of speaking. Concise
without singing, I can relate as a Dane. Work force, quality and quantity, autism, Autobahn and some other shit

Add Hipster to that list and you get an Austrian. I only deal with Tirol Austrians tho. Hope the rest are not as retarded.

1.You write German like the "the Office" guy speaks it. 2. I know like 12 Spaniards in Germany, most dont have an accent only problem is ü and ö sounds. He is "selling you the bike"

>What do you think about German?
The language? Or the people? I like my german friends, not so much the language.
>Do you like how it sounds?
It's Ok, there're languages that sound worse.
>Other than WWII what else do you associate with it?
Prussia, the only great power that didn't need to join the colonial games to be cool like the Fr*nch and *nglo. Surprisingly, I've convince quite a number of SEA friends to jump on the German bandwagon by mentioning Prussia.
I'm not german btw.
