I'm not living in Western Europe but my girlfriend is Polish and I plan on moving as well. So yeah, it works between eastern men and western women, class is more important than nationality, at least where the nations aren't too far apart. I'd say the gap between Poland and Romania is easily bridgeable, but I wouldn't be put off if she were Swedish or Norwegian, although I'd be somewhat awestruck and seek to move to her country.
