They have limited access to the outside world, most of the products they were known for fled (the skilled cigar rollers to DR and bacardi to PR), they have no real industry, sugar is basically their main export. Their infrastructure used to be the best in LA and not much has been done with it since the revolution so it's shit today. Their merchant marine fleet consists of 15 ships.
