Well, I picked a job/career that I actually like doing. I can't recall a single day in the last 6 or 7 years, where I thought - fuck, I really don't want to go to work. And without a daily routine involving my job, I'd turn into a shit slob. Also I obviously make far more than any UBI would give me, so not doing any work would be a lose-lose for me.
