Hmmm.. yet another dead project.. thanks for posting this

>Due to recent increases in maintenance costs and the limited resources and time of any startup that needs to prioritize its initiatives, Secure Asset Exchange will no longer be available as of January 21st, 2016 (NXT block 621,000). We are deeply grateful to all of our users and supporters up to this point and look forward to focusing our energy on making the next generation of great blockchain-based applications, which our now global society can truly benefit from.

Kek. Are you mentally ready for Sirgay to give up on Chainlink, stinkies?

gravio actually did this

gravio.net/blog/graviocoin-core-v0-1-8-released-gravio-mail

Oh no no no no

SAE was no problem to exit with the cash but this time he gained a Jow Forums cult following.

Oh boy

What the fuck guys?

>Secure Asset Exchange

gravio actually did an exchange too

graviex.net/

>SAE was no problem to exit with

In fairness he had a good reputation for honesty and being an admin and did not exit scam on secure asset exchange. He got SEC'd

>link with zero volume
Volume is abysmal now. If you look at binance the big market sale of link 16 hours ago did more volume than all trades afterwards.
Unless some stinkie dumps his stash in the next 8 hours global volume is going below $200k.
This market structure is susceptible to -70% drops in one day. At some point holders realize there's nobody to buy their bags and they start to panic.

>and they start to panic

and that's when Jow Forums will throw the shit tantrum of the century. at that point Hiroshima should just close the Jow Forums board. all these Linkies will go full suicidal; they invested thousands in this meme

who the fuck ever knew Jow Forums could become such a shit show?

unironically thinking market selling my stack right now

I strangely find this as calming in regards to link communication. Sergey already had a run-in with the SEC and knows their ways. That's why he is so cautious about chainlink as opposed to other icos who think "everything will be fine in the end"

yes keep accumulating :^)

its not like the crypto fad is dying anyway :^)

they should have listened to Vitalik. This is a meh idea that was maybe worth $1.5M at ico, to pay for several developers working in an affordable office for a year.
Instead they sold at $32M (afaik?) and did shit. As they proved their inability to execute the project is now worth zero.

Proof:
Imagine you are a Shark Tank investor, you didn't hear anything about link before. Sergey comes to you to pitch link at a valuation of $79M. Not in the past as an idea, but right now, months after the ico.
Do you give him millions? Or do you laugh at him?

Shit, collectively Jow Forums linkies probably spent more time and effort at making link memes than link team at making the project. Now that's a sad realization.

>should have listened to vitalik who thinks eth is overvalued at $7
k

Because it was. You don't realize how slim the probability of success was. Bitcoin lost its >90% dominance only because Core actively sabotaged bitcoin.

IPOs were already happening in 2011 on bitcoin, but they were centralized (main exchanges were MPEX ran by a Romanian autist and later Havelock). People started building tools for decentralized trading, mastercoin and counterparty. Afaik the idea of ethereum took form at mastercoin team meeting! (With Vitalik obviously).
What Core did? They patched the client to censor mastercoin transactions, calling them 'spam'. LukeJr even tried to smuggle a blacklist of 'spammy' addresses into the official in the Gentoo repository.
Later on they cemented the death of bitcoin by refusing to increase the block size and censoring political opponents.

A bit of a long story, but the tl;dr is ethereum would be worth 1% of the current value if Bitcoin wasn't intentionally hampered. What Core did with Bitcoin is so absurd nobody would believe it in the past if you told them. For ethereum it was like winning a lottery.
