“When we look at how Ether today is operating we see a highly decentralized network, and we don’t see a central third party," Hinman said.

The Ethereum scam is the biggest scam in crypto.

The fact that ethereum classic exists, proves decentralization.
It's the market that decides which way to go though.

I'm calling bullshit. How is Ethereum a scam? It's being utilized by other decentralized startups that are attracting users and large holders, right?

Proves blockchain decentralization not Ethereum decentralization

I refuse to respond to redditor newfags like yourself.

Because you don't have an answer. It's a platform that consequently shapes the ecosystem. Is this fear porn? Let me hear your EOS pitch.

>crypto is a joke

yeah no shit I've known that since the first week here, just here for the gains

smells like eos faggotry in here

Actually, eosio seems to already be better than Ethereum ever was.

unlike EOS, vitalik cant just "pause" or stop the blockchain in any shape or matter, he would have to hardfork, just like he did with the DAO failure that lead to the creation of ETC

You fags never let me learn.

Miners can stop the blockchain. Bitcoin paused for a couple of hours in 2011. You would've known all of these if you weren't a retarded newfag. Stop replying to me if you're a brainlet

No one wants to spoonfeed arrogant piece of shit redditors. Go fuck yourself. You're "calling bullshit" lmfao kill yourself

my god, did you even read your own comment before you typed it

Die

there is no mechanism by which vitalik can stop putin. he'd have to convince others to implement the fork, the most important to convince would be geth and parity.

>Vitalik writes a medium post about the evil Putin coin
>redditors upvote everything King Vitalik says
>anyone who talks about censorship is downvoted to the bottom of the page
>everyone who opposes the loud minority is literally hitler
>all instiutions supporting ETH have to obey before their PR is destroyed
>everyone who opposes them are evil
>hardfork emerges
>Ethereum once again saved the blockchain world from freedom
>Ethereum Classic 2 is formed

This episode is literally unseen before! There is no mechanism available!

>Proves blockchain decentralization not Ethereum decentralization
How could you have developer decentralization?
Even Bitcoin is controlled by Blockstream.

It's not about developer decentralization. Vitalik is not a developer yet he controls the direction of Ethereum

PRIOR TO SECOND BTC ALL TIME HIGH PRICE
THERE WILL BE A MINUSCULE AMOUNT OF TIME (FIVE MINUTES TOPS) IN WHICH THERE WILL BE A ETHEREUM RUN UP TO $1014
THIS IS THE FINAL OPPORTUNITY FOR CRYPTO TRADERS
TO SELL THEIR ETHEREUM TO LOCK IN GAINS
LOOK AT THE DUMP ORDERS - IF THERE ARE INSUFFICIENT ORDERS PRESENT, THERE WILL BE A PUMP!
LAST CHANCE TO SELL ETH WITH PROFFIT !!!

There's a bit of a point anyways.
> ETH is a scam, it's not decentralized
> What it's lacking in decentralization gets covered because thing and thing, making ETH a necessary platform for thing and thing. In this way, I see no issue calling ETH decentralized, it's marketing and that's just business.
I'm not saying I necessarily agree, just that people will decide what they care about. Your grandma says you're the most handsome boy in the world and your crush laughs, there's no need to end your life.

Can you type your argument like a normal person? What is ETH necessary for exactly?

My point is that we can complain about decentralization being ignored but normal people don't really care about decentralization and they value other concepts above it. Few things are strictly necessary, maybe a better word is interesting. If we accept that, then I don't know, fast execution of contracts. But there's something else out there that executes contrasts even faster than ETH. I don't have any ETH right now but the people that could know things I don't or have a different perspective about what has bigger upside potential in the market.

What does this have to do with whether ETH is a scam or not? Is being interesting and being a scam mutually exclusive?

I bring it up because I believe there are a lot of people involved in crypto who consider in some way decentralization itself is a scam. You can choose what's a scam to you, but you can't choose it for someone else. If you can choose for them then they can choose for you and that's a mess. I hope decentralization is important to some people and that the number of interested people will grow but it doesn't have to be the case.
