I remember reading that while Nordic style capital-socialism has meant there's a better Gini coefficient and more equality and social mobility the lack of concentrated wealth and capital makes innovation and getting really rich very difficult whereas in the United States while unlikely, it is possible to be middle-class and become a multi-billionaire, in Sweden you might just move up the pay scale. That also makes stuff like venture capital really nonviable because who has the money?

surprisingly those two things have a cascading effect, here is one example;
Businesses get huge government bonuses for having migrant workers. So a lot of entry level work, often times positions where work is not even available year round and consists of doing very little but sitting and standing around a warehouse, goes to immigrants, business gets a bonus, no actual economic progress made here. Sweden will be well into double digits Islamic in a few decades, and they already associate only with one another by living in the same hoods and going to the same pizza/kebab shops, they don't use their welfare money on anything but Islamic businesses unless they have to, ie, grocery stores which to my knowledge there are no solely Islamic grocery stores full fledged, but just give it a few more years.

there are some deliberate ones. id doubt many people know you are mandatory to join the euro if you are in the EU and meet the requirements. sweden is running deficits on purpose because no rich country should want to join the euro
