I've absolutely had it with the United States' shenanigans so I've decided to move. All 4 of my grandparents are from England so I've resolved to move there and have specifically chosen Yorkshire. I'm moving this March.
Any Britbongs have any advice? I grew up with my grandparents and watched tons of British tele so I can easily blend in as an Englishman via accent and body language but I'd like to fit in all the way and be a true Englishman. What do lads in the Norf do when they're not working? Where do they go? What do they do? Etc. etc. etc.
Do you have anyone in Yorkshire? Don't underestimate depression, it might kick you so hard you'll move back in a few months
Owen Green
Oh look this faggot again. Aren't you tired of creating these threads if you are not moving anywhere?
Cameron Rodriguez
A few cousins, yeah. Very good at making friends too.
First time making a thread like this on Jow Forums, you're mistaking me for someone else.
Ryder Sanders
I spent 2 months in Doncaster that place was fucking shit by myself and when I finally made a friend it only made me more sad for the people living there because she was a nice person in a depressing place Fuck the “norf”
Brandon Reed
ok must be someone else, sorry. there is this annoying self hating fag who keeps creating these threads for years.

Why were you depressed? Was it all due to loneliness or do you think weather played a role? I hear most cases of depression in the UK are due to weather.
Brayden Campbell
ask in /brit/ if you want actual answers 2bqh
Jeremiah Lee
Weather did play a factor and this is coming from someone who lives in Seattle. But it was mostly the loneliness along with the architecture and people who all looked depressed. It was like Russia but it didn’t even have the funny communist feeling or the comfy commieblocks to it, it just sucked

Hello yank. I hope you like it here the answer to most of your questions is: whatever you do in USA. I'm fairly sure it'll be quite similar
Jeremiah Garcia
>I'm fairly sure it'll be quite similar do we lynch blacks over here? i forget.
Charles Hill
So "da norf" shit it just memes? I heard people are genuinely like that over there.
Logan Ross
That's probably the thing I'll miss the most about the US. There's nothing quite like meeting up with all your neighbors in the woods, cooking up some BBQ and lynching niggers.

London isn't the standard for England though, is it? I've heard from a few mates that London is like it's own separate country.
Dominic Torres
Yeah like how NYC doesn't represent how most Americans live

Stop this shit please you're embarssing me

What did you too lived in London for your whole 19 years? And you can tell it's boring eh? What about the weather, is it dull?
Get used to the grey skies, they'll be a good 100+ days where you'll go out and everything is a slab of grey especially if you're in an urban area. Even the majority of sunny days will have moments of just cloud cover.
If you're moving here make sure to get yourself out to the country side as much as you can and a group of friends to enjoy the occasional friday or saturday clubbing. Don't make the mistake of sticking to urban areas and wasting your money every week going to get shit faced at the same nightclubs every friday to then use the weekend to blow over your hangover. Recipe for disaster mentally. England is beautiful in parts, just got to look for them and not get yourself stuck in a rut which is quite easy to be honest.

East Anglia is the best in my opinion. Norwich north, Cambridge west / north west and London right underneath East Anglia to the south. Plus loads of beautiful countryside no matter where you go in it. Just avoid the miserable places like Felixstowe which look like they've been run down since the turn of 1800
Nathan Martinez
What's a good place in Scotland?
William Allen
I've heard a whole lot about the rolling hills and great skies of Northumbria, have you ever been out in the country there? That's what I'm really coming for, I've seen a few pics and it looks bloody incredible.
Michael James
Why do you think this place is any better?
Leo Howard
Because it's not America.
Ryder Lee
Edinburgh is actually stunning, Glasgow even has it's nice areas away from smack heads. West coast scotland May to October is Midge land and a torture to endure, especially around the lochs even though the lochs are typically wonderful.
Chase Powell
Never done anything apart from driven threw Northumbria but I do hear it's often stunning. England is packed to the brim with beautiful areas to be honest from the white cliffs of dover, jurassic coast of dorset, snowdonia, east anglia (Underrated), yorkshire and scottish highlands plus loads others and all of these are at most a days drive away, plus you can normal find a camping site for £2 a night give or take at a lot of them.
Noah Richardson
If you're a rich boy, move to somewhere upmarket like Grassington or Harrogate. If you're poor then don't move anywhere poor, its worse than hell (Hull). Big cities tend to be hit or miss, places like Hull, Sheffield and Bradford are depressing shitholes, but Leeds (inner), York and Harrogate are really good areas, full of history and the like.
Honestly if you move here and expect it to be village green everywhere then you'll be disappointed, the UK isn't like Italy or the French Riviera where you can cruise about on surface beauty and expensive food. Yeah the weather might not be picture perfect all year but we have more to do than be a tourist destination, if you can't find the beauty in post-industrial urban landscapes then the cities aren't for you. try getting a home job then moving to some village in the middle of nowhere and start your life as a hobbit, go the pub every night and spend all day smoking in the fields.
also leave the internet memes at the door, theres nowt wrong with laughing at loisence or sharia zones on the internet but they are just memes and don't reflect reality. t. Yorkshireman
you'll do fine, I think yorkshire is like texas, a sizeable amount of the population want to be separate/ devolved from the UK. It's a beautiful county(s) and was voted the best place to visit in europe twice in a row
Go for walks, enjoy a pub quiz, see nature. A nice drive, England can be rather nice if you look forward. As someone who's lived almost everywhere I would say that living in the UK seems like a shit hole, but the harder you the more diamonds you find.
You'll find a nice routine and come to enjoy the simple things in life.
A summer bike ride, a pint with your mates, a cup of tea on a rainy day. the banter. It becomes pretty illdyic. Honestly cities in the UK are shit holes.

Last time I saw a thread like this someone said they didn't want to live in England because of the weather, and that they'd rather live in Scotland or Ireland because their weather is better. Still can't tell if I was having dick pulled or not, he seemed genuine(ly retarded).
