Austria and Greece have different imprints for every coin too

saving isn't using.

do you guys not have credit?

It's the country just north of you.

>all prices have gone up while salaries have not that much
>the currency is supposed to serve the German economy so it's overvalued for most of European economies that hinders their export capabilities and makes them less flexible, especially during crises
>the country doesn't have a direct control over the currency supply so it can't carry out independent monetary policy

there are only 2 countries in Europe that benefit from the Euro: Germany and Ireland

If your country has Euro as a currency you sold your soul to the devil

>buying on credit
thanks but no thanks

Our faggot politicians are owned by the eternal teuton. Our workers livelihoods are sacrificed at the altar of the G*rman trade surplus.

5 euro should be a coin not a note

They are nice to look at. If I had some to look at some time :( I'm poor. Send help.

Nexit now

That's ridiculous.

bulgo coins look suspiciously close to euro coins but are worth 1/2 as much so you can use bulgo coins in europe to unspsecting whitetoids to get half off deals. reperations for something or another

reminder denmark is the only eu country who is allowed to not use the euro. your cunt will eventually get dragged to eu court over it

When there economies allow. Sweden has no excuse but you cant bring eastern europe under the Euro now it would crash the economy

>Mosquito
>It's -2°
I think you are the idiot pal
Enjoy your Sunny Beach
5 FR is good for a coin. 5 EU is not. Too big for a coin.

sweden held a vote, where they voted no. that's why they will eventually see themselves in the eu court.

It will eventually be due inflation, just wait

>5 FR
It's 5 CHF not 5 FR Arsebutt. And mosquittos can handle lower temperatures now due to adaption to the frigid autistic swamp that is finland. It's cold as f*ck here though, 8C no beach.

No. Germany, France, Austria, Greece, San Marino and maybe Malta all have a different picture for each coin size.
Monarchies usually have their monarch's face on every coin.

Why does your pic say 5 FR and not 5 CHF???

I once held a stack of 1.000 bank notes but they weren't mine. I felt the power of god surge through me and for one brief moment i knew what it was to be a jew.

> your cunt will eventually get dragged to eu court over it

No. It will never happen. Public opinion is fiercely against it. We'll sooner have Swexit, which is not at all off the table.

Is it called CHwitzerland?
I think not

im going to punch you

I remember when we did the downgrade and the Prime Minister at the time went clowning around trying to pull euros from an ATM as soon as the new year started and the ATM didn't work.

I once gave a 100 euro note as a present, it was a sad moment for my bank account.

€500 notes are among the largest denomination notes on the planet making it have the highest value per volume of any money on earth. On top of that the Euro is a global currency which can very easily and reliably be used/exchanged all over the world.

So in short criminals love it.

I still want to know who thought it was a good idea to make so many of the coins nearly identical. With pounds, each coin has its own distinctive size, shape and colour so you can tell at a glance which ones are which, but it's not so easy to tell Euro coins apart.

If you believe that you have never held any Euro coins in your hands.
They are incredibly easy to tell apart based on their size, thickness, weight and the texture of their edges.

Dutch ones are fucking awful when compared to our gulden which featured some amazing designs.

Despite of what retards say, the euro is actually a very good currency. Spain had never had a currency this stable for centuries.
If you listen what altright and commie retards say against euro, they hate it because it forces countries to have sane financials and balanced budgets. Well, I'm personally happy that finally someone is forcing us to do exactly that. Bring those chains.
Socialdemocrats hate it because it does not allow for very expansive monetary policies but socialdemocrats are gay and nobody should take them seriously

It fucked us over

But the Euro makes for countries can no longer crash their currency in order to undercut the rest of Europe and stand a chance against German quality products. Now they either have to make proper products or go bust.

>If you believe that you have never held any Euro coins in your hands.
Nibba, the worst part about travelling in the EU is having to pay in Euros, I always end up staring at my hand for like 30 seconds trying to tell apart a 50c from a 20c from a 10c, or a 5c from a 2c from a 1c

Well how do you think continentals feel when handed over those puzzle pieces you call coins?

What people often forgets is that this already happened before the euro
The bundesbank would raise the mark interest rates. Capital from all around europe would instantly start to move to Germany to enjoy the higher returns. So all countries from europe had to start raising their interest rates too, just to avoid capital flight. They had to do this even if they were in the middle of a recession and it was the worst policy for the country.

The people who want to quit the euro to enjoy "monetary sovereignty" do not have a clue. Only the most important currencies can afford to have an independent monetary policy, weak currencies have to follow the lead. If someone quits the euro, his new currency will have to adapt their interest rates to what the ECB does to avoid capital flight.

The interesting and diverse designs of the coins are very nice.

The banknotes are lame and boring though.

Fundamentally we allready have EUR in
Denmark, because the Danish crown
(DKR) are locked to the EUR in a fixed
conversion rate.

Well, if they're not complete tards, they should be able to learn the difference very quickly, considering how different all the coins look.

The currency was SUPPOSED to keep the German economy in check. France pushed it onto them.

Had to give change for a 500 paper once.

all wrong

when my father decided to buy three computers we went outside with 3k euros with us, shit was so uncomfortable

We don't use the euro either, retard.

Just kill your royals, they'll have to make new designs then

What happens if you print your monopoly money like a madman?

jesus christ that's pathetic. you had one fucking job

>having faces in your coins

>hurr durr, why would you use 6 bills when you can use 30

They're getting phased out, together with 1-5 € cents

>Africa part of Europe

It's just so you have the complete 1-2-5 set for every order of magnitude.

Nobody really uses over 50€ regularly. The odd 100€ is sometimes seen if you're saving money under the mattress of just take it from an ATM, but they rarely last otherwise.

Looks futuristic, not bad

Lots of pretty coins I can collect

>The banknotes are lame and boring though.
I agree. But they can't really put some famous landmarks or historical figures because a lot of people would be butthurt. Bridges and arches is a good compromise.

Pretty sure Germans use 50€ notes on the regular, they're huge cashfags

Finnish special 2€ coin that was not published for some reason.

Attached: kansalaissota.jpg (651x651, 47K)

Love this...but it's a collectible not legal tender...You can't spend it. So I will never have it for my collection

Attached: 1517026309656.jpg (950x950, 156K)

I rarely carry over 20€ with me in cash, unless it's something I've been saving at home and collecting 50€ bills just so it takes less space, then I actually use it.

But we have a pretty great ATM system and even cardless payments, now, so it's rarer and rarer.

I'm a poor faggot, but wasn't there a law against giving big sums (something like over 5k) in cash when you're buying stuff like that?

I also use my card 95% of the time. But having something like 40-60€ in cash in your wallet is a good idea if for some reason the card doesn't work. The amount depends on the cost of living though, obviously.
Also having some more cash stored at home is probably wise.

There is no limit here, but if it's 10k or more you have to verify the buyers identity and must register the transaction.
But like I said it even makes a lot of sense for 5k. That would be 50 100€-bills, very cumbersome, while 10 500€-bills are fine.

In Italy it's straight up illegal to buy something worth more than 1000 euro with cash

Why would buying items using legal tender be illegal?

Money laundering

It's really strange going around Europe. Every merchant, especially in Italy, has such weird reaction when seeing 100€ banknotes.

They're not used very often, a card transfer is preferred for 50+ sums

I see. I though it was the same all over the EU.

>Why would buying items using legal tender be illegal?
As the other user said, it's mostly to combat money laundering.

It's not here.

that's one big disgusting lie. I see them everywhere

Italy is a special case since 10% of their GDP is in the black market.

Stuff like money transfer and taxes are obviously not the same. Only important things like that a vacuum cleaner must not have more than 600W power and that light bulbs are illegal.

It stands for Confoederatio Helvetica.

i really wish africa wasnt suc a large part of any imagie of europe..cant you just zoom in a bit -.-

>light bulbs are illegal.
That makes sense though. Old light bulbs (the "incandescent" ones) are very inefficient and break more easily

Heating with electricity is still common here in Vienna because electricity is so cheap and renovating the old buildings is expensive.
And of course legal as long as you have energy saving lights.

I guess so, but it's still in every way worse than the new light bulbs

True, but putting that into a legislation instead of letting the product speak for itself seems a bit odd while big issues like tax evasion via the Netherlands and Ireland are still not fixed.

One is a small thing to help with electricity usage and maybe climate issues. the other is a major economic problem requiring years of effort.
