A good mate of mine went over to Delft to do his MSc, he said the courses are a breeze for him (tbf he was top of our cohort too) but he says the internationals are completely shut out from the Dutch social scene and the others are all asocial indians and chinese. He's a bit of an oddball though and dresses like absolute shit (seems like you guys are pretty image conscious), so I'm not sure whether it's just him thats the problem. Reason I'm asking is I'm looking at doing an exchange and hes warning me off it, but I think he's overegging it a bit. is there such a big divide between domestics and internationals? No it's exactly what happens. I studied in Denmark and it was the same there for me. Though people will like you if you are from a 'cool' country like USA or Australia. You will have to break the ice though. And they might still not invite you to things outside of classes often.
