North Las Vegas is an absolute shithole aside from the strip it is a fairly dull and poor town with a few suburbs like Henderson. Hover dam is cool. When you live in Las Vegas you never go to the strip. People live thier 40 years and go maybe twice

Las Vegas isn't that bad. I lived there my whole childhood and teen years and even tho I rarely visit the strip, my town which was a suburb was pretty good, I think the same quality of life as the one I'm living in right now in Maryland.

Strip is super nice different areas have different cultures and vibes so you can enjoy many different environments or stick to the one you prefer though I prefer it as a tourist destination not as a local. Locals never really go there for some reason

I would consider leaving it has lower quality of people and not including the strip lower quality infulstructure. Though I love the portcity via the airport feel of it all it is really cool part of the country with the strip and Area 51. It is worth mentioning there are tons of Asians on the strip. And even some mandarin radio stations. Las Vegas is probably very notorious in Asia I do not know if on par with NYC and NYC but thier are far better places to live in America
