Has anyone heard this one before? How does this even make sense. IQ tests are usually just composed of pictures, puzzles, riddles, logical questions, and math. How could this be biased against any particular culture?

IQ is real and a good measurement of pattern recognition, but there are also character attributes beyond IQ that will determine success.

If these IQ tests were so accurate, why does Belarus score significanty lower when compared to Russia (92 IQ points vs. 99 IQ points), even though they're genetically very similar peoples?

Some of his studies have shown that IQ DOES have an environmental influence. For example U.S hispanic IQ is 95 instead of 88 directly from mexico which a pretty big difference. Either way it isn't something that remains constant. It has many factors that can affect it from education, drug use(weed alone can lower your IQ by 6 points), prenatal conditions, ect. To say the people of today will keep the same IQ forever is ignorant as it is something that constantly evolves throughout time. I like to compare it to height, 100 years ago people would be considered manlets but within a short time frame people grew to be what we consider a normal 185 cm. Height is something that is increasing worldwide throughout MENA and Asia now that living conditions are getting better and the same thing is going to happen to IQ. Not everything happens quickly, it takes lots of time to make any progress

I don't get where IQ numbers come from, Uruguay has a 95 or 96 average but I've never met anyone that did one of those tests.
