The current market behavior would suggest to me that nobody who bought before it rose above 6k still holds any BTC that they bought at that price. They were all smart enough to get out at the top. So BTC will keep on crashing down to around 6k (where current traders then have to cut their losses) until outside circumstances require them to liquidate their portfolios. And then the process will repeat itself over and over, with the bottoms getting lower and lower.
