ChainLink Secret Society

Hello fellow patrician Link holders, it has come to my attention that there is no real way for Linkies to connect with each other outside of this anonymous imageboard. While this certainly protects our identities, I feel like this squanders our potential. Let me explain:

Currently, a mere 2,929 wallets contain 10,000 LINK or more. It is my personal (albeit, conservative) estimate that LINK tokens will be trading for between $300-500 by the end of 2025. Even just $100/LINK would mean 2,929 millionaires holding several billion dollars of wealth.

Now imagine if we created a worldwide network of millionaires who control the majority of world's new financial infrastructure? Thousands of people spread across the globe- a massive and completely decentralized think tank of individuals that can't be touched...

Now take it beyond that. Suppose Linkies use their newfound wealth to build empires- businesses, real estate and land holdings, entering the political realm, making powerful contacts, operating media outlets, infiltrating the entertainment industry, the list goes on and on. We have a serious opportunity here to build a significant network and organization. Most wealthy people became so without thousands of others riding the same wave.

I will see how people react to this post, and if it's a generally positive one, we'll move forward. Any suggestions on how to organize this group are welcome.

Check the archives for "Oracle of Delphi." This has already been done.

It was a catastrophe, ruined by one autist who got kicked. Also, it was weirdly focused on the ethics of a midwit Youtube philosopher.

So, with that in mind, members should have to prove their stake. Build slowly and methodically, getting rid of the cancer before it can grow. Perhaps in-person meetings should be required after a certain point in order to ensure basic sanity.

Permission denied.

I would honestly be scared for my safety. You know there could be some movie like plot happening where some nolinkers try and hunt us down. I would be hesitant about going to a post singularity party because it might turn into a murder mystery real fast.

This. Keep your hands off of my fucking linkies.

Call me paranoid but 100% this

Yes, we would operate with complete professionalism and privacy. There must be a way to be able to confirm that a wallet belongs to someone, and have people be able to communicate anonymously. I think the group should try to remain as anonymous as possible. Also, some sort of council or board needs to be organized, similar to the Supreme Court. There should be no major barriers to join, only that individual a must have a significant stake in LINK tokens, which could be waved if they provided a service to the organization (high intelligence, position of power, etc), furthermore we cannot allow extremely autistic individuals to enter the chat (like Astro, for instance), and perhaps a few other rules.

Confirming wallets is easy enough, you just have people create a couple MEWs and move Link between them. Call the transfer fees entry dues.

As for moderation/autism detection, that's a little more tricky.

I completely understand this concern, this is why I’ve barely told a soul about my Link holdings IRL. No singularity parties; in fact, no mass meetings at all, only between individuals who wish to. If things actually become serious we could always have one of those crazy Rothschild meetings with the masks, or like the Bohemian Grove. A strong security presence and a closed location.
