I am working on redesigning my company's logo and website. I wanted to ask for advice regarding whether I should just get some freelancer to do it or if I should use a site like 99designs or something. I really would rather work with someone who is quality and not have to deal with some Filipino on Upwork or something but I have no idea if I am getting ripped off here or not. Pricing below for reference, see for yourself if it's bullshit. Keep in mind this is for a basic Wordpress site.

Is it bullshit to pay that much for what is essentially formatted PNG images and a basic pre-formatted website design? Or is it worth it to not deal with the hassle and to get a decent creative to do the work? Anyone here been through this?

make it yourself. chances are, you can probably make a better logo in photoshop than either of those pajeet websites can. you'll never /make it/ if you have to rely on others to do everything for you

also for future reference if you want your thread to succeed, post a pepe or a picture of a heavily-photoshopped with with big boobs or butt. if your OP picture is not one of those two, you will get 0 replies on average.

I am straight up retarded and can't learn how to Photoshop/build a WP site fast enough to create a logo before trade shows next year. I have budgeted for the redesign and realize that I am paying for essentially a luxury here. I just want it done right.

what's the business, what kind of logo do you have in mind? if you want something super simple that represents your company like letters or some shit, do it yourself. if you need a creative logo that incorporates a visual image about your business along with the name or initials then i suggest you find someone with talent and pay what it's worth. imagine getting some pajeet to do the work for cheap, or you choose a template option, then a year later you hate it or it's just not well received, do you want to go through the hassle of rebranding? no. pay for something you love and don't be a cheap kike is the best advice you'll get. have some fucken pride

tell you what, OP. i'll do you a logo, find a free custom wordpress site that you like, design and tweak it to your specific needs.
refocus the site entirely on sales copy and direct traffic to an email opt in form for $1000.
i dont have much on my plate besides side projects so i'll prioritize this for you

It is marketing services for food and beverage companies, I need a basic letter logo and a small visual badge to put on shirts and identity items (cards, letterhead, etc.). I am redesigning now so I don't want to duck this up as I can't do this again. Again though, it's not like I even know where to find top level creative talent. I am not a 1mm+ company either so it's not like anyone with real clout will work with me/be affordable at all.
