Spent around 2000 along the way, though.

No idea since I cashed out a lot of my gains in 2017, but I threw in 5k CAD between 2013, 2015 and 2016 and probably turned that into like 200k or so.

Yep. I'm a severely emotional, reckless trader. FOMO into pumps, panic sell any dip, etc. Absolute mess. I cried during a temporary dip today and sold at a 10% loss, instead of waiting 45 mins for a profit.

I sometimes get into longer-term holds but I can't leave them alone, always fiddle and buy/sell and lose a lot.

>22K in
>portfolio peaked at 317k, most gains came through ico's
>175k atm

would have been higher if i tether'd earlier, assumed the post Jan dip was temporary and continued the ride south

If you trade with emotions you wont make it, just accept that and stop day trading, you aren't meant for it.

oh I'm not complaining. I'm not worried at all actually.

no, you have to claim capital gains on long-term holds every time you trade for any other crypto, and short-term holds/trades are taxed as income. every crypto-crypto trade (may depend on the country though)
