YOU TOLD ME CHAINLINK SOLVED THE ORACLE PROBLEM
>what is tamper-proofness
>what is intel SGX trusted hardware
>what is a decentralized network
you really know nothing about this project, do you?
Wtf this is bad
Fuck off Cryptowski
HAHAHAHAHAHA LINKLETS BTFO
fuck its actually over
Fuuuuuuckkkkk I really thought chainlink was the one that gonna make me rich
Nice try fudders
How is it fud?
Oracle =/= decentralized and trustless oracle platform
You think anyone is going to trust high value transactions on an oracle with this level of simplicity? There's no redundancy or fail-safes. ChainLink seeks to provide an actually trustless way of providing oracles so that big $ contracts can self-execute
Finally! Now I can learn how to make these Oracle things Sergey keeps blabbering on about. Thanks!
- Steve Ellis
oh my GOD just sold my entire stack before the ship sinks, thanks user.
since we're here:
the latest from ETH has information about how reputation and consensus will work. this wasn't in the whitepaper as far as i could tell, does that mean basically that they're in cahoots?
github.com
"You didn't actually buy in did you?" - Sergey Nazarov
It's just so surreal that something with so much potential like LINK is only 20 cents.
I mean why wouldn't they be? Does no one at ethereum think real world data will ever be needed?
Vitalik doesn't like Chainlink though.
That's a reach. His statement didn't touch on liking or disliking the project, it was about the amount of money they raised.
Vitalik hates speculators and people that is in crypto for muh Lambos. He was pissed about the ico craze. So he said that oracles are awesome but you don't need to raise 32 mil to develop them.
Also he is genius tier in CS and Sergey is definitely not, he may just be annoyed that people with no tech background are getting cocky/scammy in the space.
bitcoin cash is also going to solve the oracle problem in november. so yeah chainlink is fucked
He is right that you don't need that much funding though. What is Sergey planning to do with his capital? At this rate it would last him decades, even if he pays a high rent for his fancy office.
>What is Sergey planning to do with his capital?
retire of course, so called *exit scam*
He's obviously going to buy one restaurant from each fast food franchise, allowing him to walk in and take food from the kitchens whenever he pleases
OP's a nigger, ignore him.
Who the fuck needs a decentralized and trustless oracle?
Because building your own single purpose Oracle is easy. Building a general purpose one capable of allowing for data to be imported from a billion untrusted sources is hard.
laffd
I read the PowerPoint posted earlier today and if you think Ethereum itself isn't going to make sure their proprietary oracle isn't up to snuff? And do you really believe they can't pull it off?
intel.com
you can just buy an sgx enabled server block lol
>Who the fuck needs a decentralized and trustless oracle?
a decentralized and trustless network does
REEEEEEEEEEE this is the same fud we have seen over and over again get some fuckin new content if you're going to try lower the price
SHIT. FUCK.
FUCK this is FUCKING NIGGERTARDED.
I had better go ALL IN on RIPPLE or some shit now instead.
