Does or did your homeland produce cancer sticks?
Ga L ic IA!!
Yes, we used to, but it died out, in fact I think all of the spanish tobacco industry died out.
We was celts and shit.

Yep, but they’re dying out in popularity, especially with young people. Most people I have seen who still smoked were all middle/old aged.

What Brand?
God knows where the tobacco comes from nowadays, I bought some american spirits and they're EU made, but they were as nice as I was told. Nothing super, but nice tobacco. I understand they're super expensive in the US but here they were just as expensive as marlboro.

Yes, but we rather buy our cancer from Paraguay 1/3 of the price.

I do know a popular brand is Marlboro, and there’s a lot of other smaller brands I can’t be assed to remember.

I will visit the BAT factory in my city this friday.
Also we have a few roll your own brands (Netherlands is king of heavy tobacco in Europe I dare say) like Javaanse Jongens and Van Nelle

I thought you meant a local tobacco industry, the american tobacco industry is very much alive, at least in the US. For you It's local tobacco, in the EU it's imported from god knows where. I know some of it is latam grown.

Yeah well the roll your own brands are pretty much all european. There's a weird brand called Pueblo (People/Town) but it's written in fucking spanish for whatever the reason and it's god damn german tobacco.

Pueblo is not a weird brand, just a stupid marketing meme for wannabes like American spirit in the anglosphere

Well again, American Spirits here aren't that expensive so they're good for the buck and in the USA they're local tobacco. They're milder marlboros with a slower burn. Pueblo here is a brand I had never heard of and tastes bloody awful but it's pretty strong so it's good for getting a heavy fix or to blend with other tobacco and do a rollie.

Yes. Pic related

>Patagonia jacket
W-what are you talking about.

Over here only a specific kind of tryharder smokes American Spirt/Pueblo and they are easily recognized by their Patagonia or other ‘love nature’ branded clothing. Don’t even think the brand is sold outside of university towns

Kinda. Pic related.

Well I usually just smoke Marlboro. I don't know a single person that smokes American Spirits, I just heard they were good and shit and bought a pack literally yesterday. I made this thread because I bought those 2 packs in the OP. The Celtas are from the 70s but I have no idea about the Phillip Morris one.
Wow, that's super edgy.

would smoke

Last time I was in the UK all your packages had the exact same color and appearance except for the lettering on them.

>the same as with menthol cigarettes, there are Celtic cigarettes that will gradually turn you based and white as you smoke them

based

I see them a lot in my uni, since they love to show off their light blue package. And for some reason I never see anyone smoke American Spirits anywhere else. Just like Club Mate.

Ah, I just realized the yellow ones are lighter, well, now I'd like to try the full bodied blues.
Seems weird that there's a dutch culture that englobes smoking American Spirits.

Blue ones are the ‘real’ ones I think, at least over here. And rolling is the real variant of American Spirit if you want to go all the way.

Yes. Still Somewhat strong but their popularity would probably be replace by vape since a lot of younger generations prefer vape.

>how to get millenials to smoke

Vaping is better. Vaping some vanilla e-juice as I type.

Yeah, we mostly make licenced stuff, but there are a few Hungarian brands.

The last tobacco -related factory was closed couple of years ago, it made rolling paper and filters, production of actual tobacco has ended much earlier. Couple of the finnish brands are still alive, but the cigarettes are manufactured somewhere else
