Like being a virgin in Brazil

Uncle had 94 astra 1.4i from new, gave it to wife, then his friend and the friend to his relative. While it did blow a headgasket on year 5, it was otherwise very reliable and easy to maintain. All of the owners looked after it, therefore even when it was rusted through and through, it still fired up easy and everything including the AC worked.
Some advice, if you encounter strange electric gremlins check the wiring loom running on the floor next to the sill, the before mentioned astra`s loom had rubbed off its wiring coating against the metal and caused electrical shorts.

Who buys a new car for a first car?
Is your daf paying?

Attached: file.png (474x316, 284K)

nice jeep renegad- ...yikes

As a student I did not need one, now that I have the money....

the car is not terribly expensive, only 20k€

it looks like the gux representing it
does it run on s(o)y?

291 000km, airbag didn't work, EGR valve didn't work, fan didn't work, brake pump was failing, the weights on the rims had fallen off, turbo was failing etc. etc. And this was right before i had to show it for the regulations or whatever.
Fixing this would've cost more than the car was worth.

Attached: zczxczxcc.png (1234x919, 2.57M)

better buy niva bronto

Bruh I had the old body on 31" tires and it felt terribly underpowered and drank fuel like my current bmw

Looks like you didn't took care of it, mine is around the same year and still works like a champ.

Tbh these are all easy things to fix
I deleted the egr in mine

Easy fix, but higher cost than it's worth and when it has almost driven 300 000km there's no telling when the next part goes.
Forgot to mention that the timing belt (if that's what it's called in English) was working crazy overtime. I should've changed that like a year ago

A mazda 3

Yours is 2004 model as well? Great car, best clutch i've ever tried, but for me it was time to get a new one.

I don't know about car engines and economy but it looks really good

Nope, i'm OP.

BMWs devalue like garbage too. It doesn't really matter though anyway. I don't plan on selling this car or the cars I will buy after it. I'll probably just give this car to my dad who will likely drive it for another 10-15 years until it dies. The dude still drives a 1992 Toyota Camry with 400,000 miles on it even though he can afford a Tesla.

Attached: Screenshot_20190105-215203__01.jpg (2029x962, 467K)

F150s are pretty nice though, and the next generation is going to get a twin turbo V6 / hybrid variant.

He's smart and porbably takes good care of his car. I don't plan on changing mine sooner, i like it besides the shit gas mileage, but it's pretty solid.
BMW's, Kias, Audis and all of those "premium sedans" devalue as fast as sanic.
I remember when i saw a Cayenne for 60k BRL, dirt cheap here for what it is.

Thought it was the 250cc.

You need a middle ground though.

>He's smart and porbably takes good care of his car.

He does but it's going to be near 30 years old and shit on it is finally starting to break. He was planning on buying a Ford or Mercedes and just keeping it long term but I am planning on just giving him the Hyundai when his car finally dies and getting a "nicer" car and keeping it long term. Diesel I6 BMWs are fairly reliable mechanically and the 6 cylinder Genesis's are too. I do a lot of long range driving so want a big comfortable car to use for that. These can both be had pre-owned for cheap and with 100,000 mile warranties

Attached: genesis 2020.jpg (840x560, 103K)

I wish we got those Diesel models, only trucks and other specific vehicles got it here, maybe because govt wanted to shill their Ethanol.
Diesels in general are pretty reliable and "indestructible" if taken proper care.

Genesis looks great, although it seems that only boomers would drive it.

That's a pretty old car, police here used them back in the 90's

It's a 92, not so old.

Sheeeeeeit, how's life there friend?
Also nice little shitbox.

Horrible. There is nothing to do aside from drink and sweat and smoke. Qorking on my car is the only thing that keeps me sane. If I woke up and someone had smashed in the hood or something, I think I would kill myself

Hey, my little brother who doesn't have a drivers license yet bought one of those. How are they?

The one he got should be in mint condition. It's barely gone 40 000km and has had service every other year. Some old fart owned it before him. I think my brother paid like 20k NOK, which is around 2300 USD
