3500 calories per pound of fat

you burn 2000 calories a day naturally.
A strenuous 1 hour cardio workout can burn 800, or up to 1000 if you're an athlete.

That means if you work out 1 hour per day and don't eat, you can burn about a pound per day. Not eating is bad however, your stomach and body need to be placated, so minimum calorie intake should be about 1200 per day.

That means without workouts, you can create a deficit of about 800 calories per day, with workouts it should be 1600. That's about 1/2 a pound a day, assuming you walk around a little to burn some extra off the top.

If you need to lose it even faster, try two workouts, one in the morning, one in the evening. You could potentially get the burn up to 1,500. Although this is not recommended, your body will go through the wringer. This is not the kind of burn you can maintain long term.

So with a strenuous 1 hour workout every day and controlled eating, you can lose about 1/2 a pound per day. That means 15 pounds per month.

Just for a little perspective, 7 pounds of fat is a gallon

>, your stomach and body need to be placated,
Yes, by metabolizing the excess fat you have stored

fasting is the easiest and quickest way to lose fat period, no reason not to do if you don't have social obligations and aren't a sick elderly boomer

I have tried going totally without food, after 3 days I began feeling dizzy and lightheaded, it was intolerable, I had to eat something.

Your workouts will be slower, your muscles will break down and then not recover. It's like trying to go a week without sleep. No, moderate calorie intake is necessary for long term weight loss.

If you have to lose 20 pounds, you aren't going to do it overnight

Eat less move more

So work out? It's not hard

You pick up the weight, you lower it, you raise it, you lower it. Repeat until you can't lift a single pound anymore and go home.

Your body will eat away muscles long before it starts to deplete fat storages. You should eat at least 1500 calories a day even if attempting to lose weight.

Except you'll burn muscles away befote fat and end up looking like a skinny fat abomination while killing your metabolism and getting even fatter in the long run.

Snake diet will do the trick

Correct. The body actually does not discriminate when undergoing autophagy. Whether it be fat or muscle, it'll disassemble it indiscriminately, your body is quite literally eating itself. This means you also risk damage to the organs and other parts of the body.

i lost 8kg with in a month just by cutting all the sugar and some other useless shit like bread. though it got more slower for some reason but still i lose weight day by day, slowly

just drop alcohol at least till university starts, blake. you'll thank me later

Same. I used to be a fat little fuck in high school, mostly because my parents would enable me (the're fat too) by buying me ludicrous amounts of sugary sodas and other garbage.

Afterwards I decided, no fucking more of this shit, I'm switching to water, light meals with good amounts of protein and GUESS WHAT, I'M NOT A FAT FUCK ANYMORE.

going for a sunday morning run lads

>Not eating is bad however, your stomach and body need to be placated,
That's actually wrong. Eating little is worse than not eating at all. If you don't eat at all you'll enter ketosis and start using up your fat reserves. The hunger generally goes away after 3 days.

Your body eats up muscle before it eats up fat. By keeping a steady but insufficient food intake you are facilitating continued protein breakdown. If you just cut food intake period you'll go through protein metabolism and start metabolizing fat.
