American knowledge

europe is weird, police with full assault rifles everywhere

We also have army patrols everywhere

>letting the army operate domestically
That is gonna be a Yikes! from me.

Pic related is at the train station where I live.

And for some reason it seems to work, because in Amsterdam they foiled a terrorist attack by an Afghan from Germany in 9 seconds.

what's the need for so much firepower?

Your cops are larping as soldiers what's the difference

As soon as Slovakia collapses we attack!

Why are euro police forces obsessed with issuing smgs in current year?

>The attacker was apparently unaware his victims were Americans
whiter than you saqid

I think there are two reasons. First of all, in America the power comes from the bottom up, while we're a monarchy so the power comes from the top down. So there are literal military units protecting the King and able to aid the police.

And secondly, during colonial times the Marshals (Marechaussee) were used to keep the peace in Indonesia. So they required some firepower. And now they patrol here.

>Be American
>Your dog get shot
>You get Waco'd
>A-at least they were FBI and ATF not the terrifying MILITARY
I swear you could just let the USMC handle policing and you won't get a worse result plus it's not like you deployed the national guard to deal with deadly riots dozens of times

>American police is militari-

>you can't put the military against your ow-

You've genuinely convinced me. I actually think this would be a good idea.

Whole Europe is slowly but surely becoming a police state, an unshamedly public police state. And no-one cares a shit.

We're one of the worst cases of it desu. In the Netherlands the police is allowed to offensively hack people who live in the same neighborhood of a suspect. Which is everyone in this country.

There are also cameras above the road, which track all cars. They were originally used by the IRS, but now the police can use them as well.

The government has also send the phone records of 1,6 million Dutch people to the USA for analyses.

It will spread elsewhere too and only get worse and more outrageous year by year, until there won't be any dissidents left.

But on the bride side, we haven't had any terrorist casualties. Only 1 death in 2004.

We also have more wiretaps than the USA, China and Russia combined.

>It should be remembered that the Dutch already are noteworthy for their big ears. Even under the current law they have a stunning predilection for wiretapping. In 2013 alone, this country’s judiciary tapped 26,150 of its citizens’ phone numbers. By comparison, U.S. criminal courts authorized 3,576 taps in total in that same year in a country whose population is 20 times great than The Netherlands’.
